I use Gullfoss and it does make a difference. It takes some getting your head around though and there is a good video on its use... cant remember the address.

The last few days I have been working on one of Grems original songs as I was invited too collaborate on this amazing song. In all honestly it is one of the most beautiful I have heard in a long time and was honoured. Im sure Grem will chime in on the back story of the song - terminal illness 😞 This is a mix down and I would value your opinions on the vocal and mix and is a work in progress and asked Grem if if I could ask you all for opinions. Another Garth Brooks Tune. Does it sound better without the reverb? I usually use a lot of reverb and experimenting cutting right down.

I redone the main vocal today and backed off on the reverb as suggested. Its very hard for me working on my own vocals as I don't hear when it drops tone when Im working on the project Also singing with feeling to me seems to knock me out of tune... or is it just me??

Changed the reverb and vocal level as suggested, This was a one take wonder... I'm just talking to the band members when I'm talking.

Hi JB. Finally got around to listening to this track. Its a very heart felt track... They sound recorders to me that we used to use at school. 🙂 I think it would sound a completely different track if I could let you had some of my piano samples. Did you record midi on the piano? If so... send me your piano midi track and I will send you back the track. I am always amazed at your vision with chord changes. Good job.
