  1. I really liked that piano intro - impressive. This is excellent live blues - all I needed was a beer in my hand to complete the experience😃 That harp solo was very nice.
  2. That was a good listen - I enjoyed your composition. I don't think it needs any sort of changes - sounds fine as is.
  3. That's a spooky song - it had me looking over my shoulder😃 Nice job - thanks for posting.
  4. Hi Everybody, This is the third track on my new album, "A Gray Colored Sky". Any comments and critiques are welcome. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=13937780
  5. I really enjoyed the listen on this one - the guitars sounded great - impressive playing. Made me think a bit of Steve Vai. I liked that ending - creative.

No, it's not a full band - I'm a one man band on all my songs. I play everything and sing everything - the drums are programmed (Addictive Drums 2). JohnBee58 - I'll see what I can do about the rhythm guitar in the next mix - thanks for listening to my song.
  7. That's a very cool groove - I really enjoyed your piano playing on this (you mentioned it was EZKeys - sounds great). The bass comes through nicely in the mix. I thought the drums could come up in the mix a bit more - just my taste. Your vocal sits well in the mix - and you performed it well. I really liked the M8-breakdown in this arrangement - the strings sounded good there. Nice job on the lyrics as well. Thanks for posting - I enjoyed the listen.
  8. That's a quality track - thanks for posting. The lead synth sounded great. Made me think a bit of Zero 7 a bit - nice job.
  9. Oh, I forgot to mention - your vocal was cool on this one - made me think a bit of Dan Fogelberg.
  10. In the mid 90's I bought a Tascam 414 MKII 4-track recorder. I was writing songs back then and wanted to try and capture my ideas on tape. I transferred a few to Sonar, but most of them aren't worth it. I didn't know what I was doing back then😄 I thought your song was very good, and the mix doesn't sound bad at all. Nice job.
  11. Clever lyrics - I really enjoyed them. The mix is top-notch - sounds a bit 80's to me, which is cool - a bit of a Human League vibe to it, because you have the female singer.
  12. Hi Everybody, This is the second track on my new album "A Gray Colored Sky". Any comments and critiques are welcome. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=13933793
  13. David Sprouse - Thank you very much for your comments. I've never been to Portland, but I've heard from others that it's a beautiful city. Wookiee - Thanks for stopping by and giving my song a listen. DeeringAmps - I'm glad you liked the song. Yes, I like the new update on Soundclick as well.

Old Joad - Thanks for your comments. emeraldsoul - I'm glad you liked the tune - I'll keep your suggestion in mind (the rhythm guitar on the right) in mind for the next mix. Thanks for you ears. freddy j - Thank you very much for giving my song a listen and for your kind comments - cheers.
  16. Sounded pretty good to my ears - nice job.
  17. FJ - it's not my style of music, but I enjoyed the listen. I thought the mixes sounded great. You could probably get these to a local dance club DJ and see if they'll give them a play - then you could see the reaction of the crowd to your tunes.

    Hey There

This is a cool rockabilly tune - I also thought the BGVs stood out as being excellent - the best I've ever heard from you. Good lyrics - I really enjoyed the listen - nice job. The lead guitar licks fit well within the song. By the way - looks like you have a nice collection of guitars in the picture.
  19. I thought that Zebra brass lead sounded quite nice to my ears. The acoustic guitar sounds very cool - so you did some good work there. It's a mellow tune, but it sounds happy mellow to me - kind of enjoying a sunny winter's day (as you say, in Sweden).
  20. Hi Everybody, I wrote this tune in Oct. 2018 - it's the first track on the new album I'm working on, called "A Gray Colored Sky". Any comments and critiques are welcome, and thank you very much for listening. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/html5/v4/player.cfm?songID=13927306
  21. I pictured myself drinking a cold brew in a bar listening to your band do this song - cool tune.
  22. You're the master of weirdness - and it works well for this song - very entertaining listen.
