  1. If the issue persists you can send us the dump file from the crash and we can check on our end.
  2. I mean, you could do a counter-gain/volume envelope on audio that has a pre-existing fade printed on it. You'll raise the noise floor the whole time though.
  3. This has been discussed enough on other threads as well, we don't need to rehash it again here. Thanks!
  4. I'm going to lock this thread just as this same convo has run its course on... numerous other threads, nothing personal @Rickddd. When all the pricing stuff is finalized, we'll let everybody know, but as of right now (and mentioned elsewhere) the current plans we have on deck should be agreeable with most people here. We can't say much beyond that, but we just ask that people be patient. Thanks!
  5. If you have a dump file for the crash we can take a look into it.
  6. While I would hope a pending fix from them would resolve any issues, but can we please refrain from publicly listing beta installers for third party companies here? Thanks!
  7. Can you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing?
  8. Not at the moment, Sonar isn't in open beta.
  9. Discord is more of a chat than a forum. It kind of splits the difference between a forum and an app like Slack
  10. They might not have been registered correctly with the update install. @Promidi's suggestion about redoing the Microsoft redists (either separately or by re-running a Cakewalk install) would be the first thing I'd try as well.
  11. If you're not seeing the sign in page, check if you have your default browser running somewhere. It sounds like there's something stopping the webpage launching with the sign in. Note that you have to use a sign in page that was opened by Cakewalk for it to work.
  12. Odd, I just verified it's still working on Win 8.1 on our end. Possible there's something else going on with your other system locally, but we specifically built the updated Command Center with the old compiler so that there wouldn't be any compatibility issues from subsequent updates.
  13. Command Center should be fine on Windows 7/8. We just recompiled it with the old compiler to update it for the new back end locations. Windows 8 went EOL at the beginning of the year, so the new Sonar will only be officially supported on Win 10 and above, but odds are likely fine it'll be fine on Win 8.1, at least for a while. Win 7 can't do the graphics stuff... display scaling there is a nightmare comparatively. In either case it doesn't really make much sense on our end to put the time into doing OS specific testing on operating systems that aren't supported by Microsoft at this point.
  14. That's just a benign dialog that can sometimes appear with the updated version of Command Center. It's a known issue, but you can simply close the dialog.
  15. Either version of Melodyne should work, but from experience, 5 is way more stable. The VST3 version is what loads as the ARA effect in Region FX. If it's in the VST3 folder, then check it's not being excluded.
  16. Shift + drag also works horizontally as well to constrain the drag from moving to a different track.
  17. Once upon a time they were staging platforms for testing various web changes. The legacy.cakewalk.com is the main page for the previous site.
  18. I'd suggest using https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Command-Center instead, but the 1.1.8.1 version of Command Center is the correct one. We had to shift some server end stuff which required a new version of Command Center so it could phone home correctly.
  19. All of the old auth systems for SONAR should still be valid. Just make sure you grab the updated version of command center for legacy content
  20. You're seeing the driver bit depth there. The Record Bit Depth you can set on the Audio Data tab under the File heading.
  21. The apps have a shared intermediary format. It can't do everything as there isn't 1:1 feature parity between Sonar and Next, but it does handle quite a few things, much more than uploading to bandlab.
  22. SONAR Platinum launched with a "Membership" program where you could either pay monthly (where 12 months of membership would get you a perpetual license up to that 12 month point), or you could pay for that 12 months up front which was essentially just as you would with buying an upgrade from X2 to X3.
  23. Respectfully, I don't think we need this here either. People have expressed their thoughts on prices from the moment the new version was announced. We've been around the block a time or two before, so we're pretty familiar with how people feel. We can't comment publicly on price points right now, but we have one in mind that I think most people here will find more than fair, as Noel has mentioned elsewhere. Details will be forthcoming when things are finalized, and nothing is going to change overnight. We just ask that people have a little patience while we do what we need to do on our end. Thanks!
