  2. there once was a practice i think they referred to it as hara kari you might be better off watching the grass grow and then writing a poem
  3. you won't make it just ask your priest https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14419590
  4. Becan is for rich people.😀
  5. yes, it's all good. My apologies if it sounded a as an affront. I guess my whole point was that no matter which drum vst you go with, you will have to dig into it and make the sound fit for what you need. It sounds like you are the kind of producer that will take the time to find what is best for your clients. I look forward to hearing some of your productions.
  6. And another thing Craig, I'm trying to decide what I should have for breakfast tomorrow. What would you recommend? My choices are Spam Bologna head cheese little smokies hot dogs breakfast sausage liverwurst or budget boxed mac and cheese that has an open powder cheese packet with little weevils in it.
  7. If you are asking this forum you will get a myriad of opinions. I think eventually you will have to pull the trigger, and you probably won't be happy. This recording stuff is a bitch. If you are trying to establish yourself as a competitive entity with the Nashville megalith, well damn. If I had a nickel for every piece of VST that was supposed to turn me into a pro, I would have a dollar two eighty. Develop your sound and fire away. ***** everybody else, unless you want to be like everybody else.
  8. The pen is mightier than the sword.😀
  9. I'd rather be a hammer than a nail.
  10. I'm familiar with Wilco, but not this tune. It is a very nice recording. Can you give a little more insight into how you recorded the vocals? I find the sound interesting and am curious as to your workflow. Thank you

    So Good

really like the drums, and the bass at the beginning to me, this really kicks *****. really really kicks *****
  12. This ^ It's all practice to me And nobody really gives a crap anyway Nor do most people really listen to what is going on inside the music That is perfectly understandable and I make no complaint The songs forum is a great place to hang out, it's like an elementary school playground, with a skewed perception But I get to take my turn like everyone else and even though I don't get carried off the field on my classmates shoulders I go home at the end of the day and can't wait to go back tomorrow I just like to play and am rather naive to other peoples perception there's always a few swell classmates who I get to see and that's enough for me because it's still a playground, and very few of us can monetize our swing at the ball anyway
  13. Hello Jackson, this is a great conversation. If you will eventually replace your preproduction drum tracks with real drums then....
  14. After reading all the other comments It makes me think of maggots eating decaying flesh. Slow and relentless. Did you know maggots can eat 50% of a dead body in seven days. The flies lay their eggs around the mouth, eyes, ears, and any orifice or wound, and then the babies do their work until they turn into flies. Yes, this is good, you should get some video of maggots and make this into a video.
  15. I love it! Funky is always good. If you are asking for crtis, it sounds like you are holding back a bit on the vocals, like you are afraid someone will hear you, but that is just me, I just finished listening to some punk rock. Write some more!
  16. Reminds me of George Harrison! Very creative. Trust me, I get it.
  17. Love the vocals! and the story. No need to freak out, what will be will be, and you can only control nothing. You're doing fine! Great song!
  18. They are already here. I like the heavy sound, very forceful, like a tsunami.
  19. Excellent!!! Had to look that up, I liked it. So true
