  8. Thanks for listening and comment
  9. Be careful of what is known as phasing ...where two identical tracks cancel each other out, you can use reverse phase on cake ... that's why keeping the centre field vox is important ... hope it works for you as it has been successful with me on my stuff ...........
  10. 👍 That's it ... Just loved the work Steve
  11. Hi David .. well, ... did you break the spell, perfect timing and very interesting, in a scary way. Sounds like you got a lot of NI in there and where did you get that 'Paul Young' bass sound ... great stuff my friend Stay well Steve
  12. As usual fkn knock out ... even busting my drums I want a higher mix on the vocal and a bit of separation on the backing vocal ... small crits .... I always feel a King Crimson vibe from your stuff .. the start of my downfall to dark rooms and wotnot 🤯 anyway gooda go for a 4th listen LOL Steve
  13. It's a great bit of work Kieth .. if I was in the chair I would start by doubling the vox with one track bounced 30 % left and 30% right, you could then sum it and use a widening tool to bring up the vocal with a little compression. From that I would keep the original vox track at center field on a different track and bring it up so as to enhance the overall fell of the vox. Your voice is great and on tune just a little to weak in your mix (IMO) so the above might help anyway great sound great work .. most of all ..all you! and that I love Steve
  14. Absolutely beautifully put together .. I really enjoyed this although I would have used a little more reverb on the flute .. you know, just to soften it anyway top marks. Steve
  15. Nice .. a change of guitar pick maybe .. just for variation.. You are a poet and for that top marks ! Steve
  16. Like it .. but as Wookie has said it's a Dr Who theme .. can't be anything else with that underlying bass line .. me likes it but it is very muggy on the lower end ...
  17. Thanks for listening and the great comment ! Steve
  18. I know you've been on this site for years and I have seen you grow , always with the talent but lacking the means to achieve your desired goal .. I think you have done that with this piece of work. I love the arrangement and mix, the whole thing doesn't telegraph where the singer ( you ) is gonna take you and it's a quality that my hero, Sir Paul McCartney does, in spades! I love this song and it's unpredictable movement. Great stuff John ... Oh and I hope she liked it 👍 ATB Steve
  19. I'll remember that ... so little 't' it is .... and will be ...with respect, my friend ALB Steve
