Worst for me is Amazon. Usually wrong item. It seems most of their delivery people can't read unit numbers. They aren't difficult to read. I usually get deliveries that don't belong to me. Never had issues with anything shipped if it's from Sweetwater. I remember living in apartments and good management only allows deliveries to be sent to the office. So happy we live in an age where software is downloaded.

Yes and no. It's even more cheap when you do an inventory and say do I use it? Just hit delete. I keep a 4TB WD Black HDD if I want to keep something but not ready to delete. I still keep HHDs for higher activity reasons. I'm always downloading something everyday. SSDs are for sample streaming. I installed all of the new Komplete U libraries and I say to myself now what. Now if only video cards came down to a more realistic price. Unfortunately with drive upgrades I have spare 256, 500 gb SSDs. I've got 1TB, 2TB HDD drives as well. I guess the best investment is a drive dock. I prefer to use all of my SATA slots with 2TB drives instead of buying a much bigger one like 8TB. If a big one goes bad you feel the cost a lot more.

Those Halion sounds were probably ripped from soundfonts. I've got all of those Vita sounds with Acid Pro, got Independence Pro. At some point you realize you have so much other stuff that is better you don't need to waste more disk space. If I recall those Vita sounds can't be put on another drive. I'm moving on from since I bought it I'll install it. Price has nothing to do with it. It's about allocating resources and the choices become overwhelming.

People only do that to justify their purchase. All more expensive DAWs have this stuff for beginners to create music out of the box.

I bought a 2TB EVO at Best Buy on Sunday for $99. No need for Prime and pick it up at a store.

Amazed at the amount of reauthorization when you upgrade your system drive. The only DAWs I didn't have to reauthorize was FL Studio, Acid Pro 9, Mixcraft 10, Reason Bandlab, Live, S1, Cubase and believe it or not Reaper which also removed previous settings. Plugins IK - reauthorize - was easy Biggest annoyance was PA. If you used up 3, you had to go to the webpage and deactivate. This was about 70 plugins. This biggest shocker was not having to reauthorize Waves. This is the beauty of why people favor the physical iLok - you had to do nothing. If you use your drive as an iLok, you would have to contact vendors to reauthorize. So far no issues with NI or Melda.

I'm too stupid to install those or know if they work on older systems with those slots. I'll stick with the SATA ones since I don't lose any ports. I have 4TB worth of SSD. If I fill those up then I need to reevaluate what I'm doing.

Part of me wants this. If it were the recent Acid Pro I would buy it over Samplitude because I'm familiar with it. As of right now I don't need to collect anymore DAWs since I have 9 of them.

Lack of how to is the problem. I never upgraded.

That Vita stuff eats up space and is about as useful as the Halion SE sounds - value = none.

Who would know if they don't have that.

Maybe Music Maker is worth a try/

You have to wonder if the software pirates even messed with these.
