  1. I haven’t really looked into this thinking I do not have any NI maschine hardware. Anyone using this otherwise?
  2. This has been a great find! Thanks mucho! It creates a few doubles, but really fills out my collection. And I really like a lot of the instruments and sounds.
  3. I will work it through a bit more today. But at $20 instead of $99, I would have jumped on it!! Maybe my understanding of musical theory is just too far above any of these programs!!! ( as the cat gives a little sarcastic cough as she eats her morning chow)
  4. I think right now I will pass even on the discount price. It can do alot with different tensions, but I wish it didn't require all the import/export of MIDI from the DAW one works with. Setting up with LoopBE30 was easy and straight forward in StudioONE 4. But I am not sure that for this price, it offers much more than what the newer chord track improvements in StudioONE 4 offer.
  5. Still working through this. Here are the links for direct checkout of each product with the discount: many thanks for reaching out to us. 6. This will be something I will trial, but right now I am not sure I see where it is on sale for 30% off. Keeps coming up for me at $149 US, and headed towards checkout shows no deductions. Perhaps I am missing something. I will toss them a email and see where it goes.
  7. I would say that for just one Waves plugin, jumping through all their hoops is probably not worth it.
  8. I have had a few issues with upgrading to WIN10, including on one machine, I had to do a complete reinstall. But overall, WIN10 is a much smoother and nicer experience overall. Right now going to 1903 on my machines.
  9. That 1.5 gigs is the size of the whole new T-racks 5 version which includes the Tape machine collection. So not much bigger than the older version without the new Tapes machines. It does include a few fixes to T-racks 5: 1 Fixed an issue with delay compensation affecting audio playback and export 2 Fixed an issue in the VST instance rendering silence at start of exported audio file 3 Fixed a possible crash on export in DAW 4 General reliability fixes I did decide to get this, and with my Jam Points, it was under $75.
  10. Been using Neutron2 for alot of what I have been doing recently. The price at JRRshop was great compared to what I could get directly through Izotope. I must say that in the past when I wanted to look at an upgrade/addition, I would email the Izotope team and often get a nice discount directly through them.
  11. some reviews said they ran very hot! Not sure that might be worth saving $30. Pass this time!
  12. Oh, and the cheapest I have seen the add on digital card is at Musicians Friend at around $399.
  13. ‘Supported ARA2 DAWs Studio One Reaper Cubase Nuendo Cakewalk by Bandlab’ Good to see Cakewalk on the list, but as of this morning Steinberg has yet to release a version of Cubase with ARA2. Perhaps this means that release is imminent, but I doubt it!
  14. I use the Focusrite isa one for both the preamp and DI. Both work great. I particularly use the DI and it appears I am getting a very clean sound from my electric guitar. My understanding is the DI is totally separate from the preamp. And the additional card (still wildly overpriced) just offers some different output possibilities. Frankly I never really had a use for the card, so I never felt the price warranted getting one. But otherwise the ISA one is a regular step in my audio setup.
  15. Thanks. I wouldn’t have noticed this as I usually don’t go to their website!
  16. Guess it must be all over, I put in each code SPRING_SAS_70 SPRING_SAS_55 SPRING_SAS_40 and got a pop-up box saying ‘that promotional code doesn’t exist.’
  17. Just got an email from Steinberg. Update from 9.5 to 10 is now $50 on the Steinberg site. At that price I think I will give it some consideration! https://new.steinberg.net/cubase/celebrate-nl/?mobile=1&utm_campaign=259400021063_cubase_anniversary_offer_updates_upgrades&utm_content=cubase-10-ud-ug_us-eu-row_en-de-es-fr-ja&utm_medium=promo&utm_source=newsletter&utm_term=2HOMZ3XB-105HBQP
  18. The specs of your system would be helpful, as we have no idea if you are on a Mac or PC and what OS is running on it. Currently on my WIn10 PC I can connect a Boss ME80 by USB which can connect to the Boss Tone Studio software which you can download from the Boss site. With this you can change/tweek patches, upload new patches and manage the library in the ME80. As far a recording the audio outs from the ME80, I connect it through a Focusrite 18i20 without issues.
  19. The upgrade from 9.5 to 10 still appears to $99 despite the sale. This was on the Steinberg site. I didn’t see the upgrade at Best Service, but I am on my phone. So, if anyone find the upgrade from 9.5 to 10 any cheaper, let me know!
  20. I have a Focusrite 18i20, 2 ND gen, usb, and it works well with Cakewalk.
  21. Some of these presets are very usable! At times the 9.3 g download was a bit slow, but my computer got through it.
  22. At this price, I can verify that Pro Q3 would be an excellent entry into FF.
  23. Awesome to see some life and crazy functionality being developed for the MCU and C4! now if this could only port over to a few other daw’s!
