I paid $249 for VC8 last year, which was a pretty good deal for a first time VC purchase/crossgrade. Then Arturia recently offered me a "special" upgrade to VC9 for $199. I waited a bit, and then Arturia bumped my upgrade up to a "regular" price of $299. 🙄 I will be quite happy with VC8 until I get an upgrade offer for $99...
