What a great thing for us non-educated wannabe orchestral composers. Because I had CC points available I got both ($60 checkout value) reduced to a combined purchase price of $26.06.

I have a bunch of individual Spitfire libs that I got back in 2008 or earlier and EW Opus, no VSL or the like. I ran a decent size project using EW Hollywood Diamond with no discernable problems, but I'm not sure that qualified as streaming(?). My MacPro 8tb samples drive is a new (this year) WD Blue. I do have a 1TB NVME PCI drive in the MacPro.

So, who actually streams? OPUS? SampleTank? NI (or addons to Kontakt such as OTS)? any others? FWIW I have 128gb of ram in both my PC and MacPro 2012, my libs are all on internal 8TB drives.

I can go get a cuppa while they load for a fraction of the cost. 🙂

Agreed but for the home hobbyist are faster load times really your primary concern? Just asking.

Mebee Imma dumbo but why would you not put your libs on an external high capacity (16tb?) drive?

Ditto to that ^^^^ And if I understand your "story" you're now making music for fun not profit, otherwise I might be inclined to say that some parts go on and on with no big payoff. But the real payoff is you probably had a fun time making it. 🙂

This is *not* for my DAW. My home/work environment is made up of two computers; each has two HDMI monitor connections going to a KVM switch which then is connected to my two ASUS 24" monitors. I'd like to have 4 monitors. Can I place this after the KVM for each monitor out connection and add two more monitors? Having a total of 4 monitors? For those that cannae be arsed to click the link:

WRT Melda, I own a few plugins and I honestly cannot wrap my head around most of them, but for shiggles and gits I looked up my MCompleteBundle upgrade price. $822. That's a hard pass for me.

I had these before I got my Sennheiser drum mics. They are good for live but only moderately OK for recording.
