  1. Are you asking to stretch the main window across both screens with both views open? Currently TV & CV cannot be open full screen in the same window. Split screen, yes. You can put both Inspector & Browser to left of Multidock so CV is on the right, but TV must be toggled. FWIW I dock Multidock at top as docking at bottom seems way more difficult to manage other views where I want them.
  2. Could be he/she tried entering notes on the fretboard and it didn't work for him/her. He/she may now be scratching his/her head because after trying it again it does work. No doubt he/she still maintains this would be/is cool. FWIW, mirroring the fret board only flips it top to bottom, not giving lefties the same point-of-view righties enjoy: Mirror Fretboard - Inverts Fretboard so highest-sounding string appears at the bottom. Flipping it left to right might be more advantageous to lefties, but he/she probably isn't left handed and so may not be completely sure about that. His/her comment was probably just a passing thought as he/she was checking out the Staff View which he/she said he/she never uses. Of course, I... er, he/she could be totally wrong about all this. 🙄
  3. Might be project specific. Just tried this in 2 different projects and am unable to reproduce the issue.
  4. Having the 2 tracks adjacent is best practice for this.... as you now know.
  5. Are you bouncing the clips first? If not the hidden data, if any, may be the culprit.
  6. I can't read music. Aside from that you can't enter cc's in Staff View. Never use it. If you could actually enter notes in the guitar Fret Pane that would be cool. Turns out you can but for some reason I couldn't. Fret Pane should also be reversible for left-handers. EDIT: @Starship KrupaLooks like you're bad habits are rubbing off
  7. Simple! Right click the clip and select Convert to Mono.
  8. Clip Gain can be bounced the same as Process > Apply Effect > Gain Q: Why did all the Key binding Asterisks turn red? They were black.
  9. Strange. Never seen this one. I feel so left out. Could be related to a specific video setup?
  10. In Track View fit project = "Resizes and zooms tracks to see entire project". Currently it only fits 1 hour of project to the window. If project is 1-1/2 hours it won't fit. Can we extend Fit Project to include "entire" project, as advertised, or at least 2 or 3 hours?
  11. Currently Start/Stop Fast Forward is shift+> or coma key.
  12. FWIW they do list Move Input Focus to Track Pane & Move Input Focus to Bus Pane, but they must both be assigned for them to work.
  13. Ah! Now I'm less confused, I think. So is that "I < confused"? or "Confused < I"?! Both "~" and "<" require the shift key. In preferences... "~" (shift+~) not assigned "<" (shift+<) assigned to Start/Stop Rewind "," not assigned but seems to toggle track selection on & off Not sure how you're toggling between track and clip here but it looks like there is no function listed for that. Current list: https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=KeyboardShortcuts.html
  14. How would we know he's using German version?

  16. Function is different for different views. Save this link for future reference: https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036997613-Keyboard-Shortcuts Search through it for "arrow"
  17. I've seen this often. Not all bindings are displayed in the Preferences window for some reason. Some keys appear to have no binding when in fact they do. Could be a Windows binding & not a CbB binding. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  18. The video link in my previous post explained it pretty well.
  19. Why did I never know this?! T H X !
  20. If your Snap settings are strong enough you should be able to draw notes smack on the beat. There's multiple ways to quantize. Process Menu: Inspector Input Quantize - supposed to quantize as you record: Many overlook the MIDI FX plugins that do the same thing: This video was helpful starting at 4:30. Where did you right-click to Quantize? Right-clicking notes normally deletes them.
  21. Personally have had mixed to unusable results with AudioSnap. For small things I just manually edit audio. Split, move, bounce, & done. Less time. Better results.
  22. So when you click & hold a clip, a transparent "ghost" clip appears indicating it's being moved. The "ghost" clip should remain over the original clip until you start to move it. In my case as soon as I click & hold the clip the "ghost" shows up in the wrong place - as shown by the cursor location in the animated gif - because - for some unexplained reason - CbB is mis-interpreting it's location and won't allow it to be moved even back to where it already is. Bouncing the clip seemed to help as did turning Snap Module OFF, but none of those things should be necessary under "normal" conditions. I'd call it a project/memory related glitch, not a bug.
