  1. What else is running in the background? If you've disabled the nvidia audio in device manager then it's likely not that

  5. instead of increasing the drum track gain, try decreasing all the ther tracks' gain, then increase the master (or bus) fader to bring them all up together beware that it will also increase the level of any background noise, noticible in the quiet bits especially compared to using a compressor... having said that, i quite often normalise tracks /fwiw/hth/nap
  6. is it possible to put the vb content folder somewhere else? (program files hive has extra security comapred to, say, a user folder)

  8. from the vid it looks like it only "detects" a touch after a certain amount of movement, rather then from the actual first touch, maybe to avoid accidental touches?

  11. have you tried running caewalk as administrator? freeze on loading a bank sounds like it could be access rights

  16. don't have v9 but i'm pretty sure you can choose the interface in the standalone? eta, in v7 under the edit menu, under "audio devices" you can select a specific device
