Voxengo SPAN Plus version 1.21 update released (and 25% off) December 12, 2022: Voxengo is happy to announce the release of SPAN Plus version 1.21 - an extended real-time “fast Fourier transform” audio spectrum analyzer plug-in for professional music and audio production applications. Note that this and all further updates require a processor with SSSE3 support (generally, any Intel processor released since 2006, and any AMD processor released since 2011); all Intel Macs are compatible (Apple Silicon Macs have NEON instead). SPAN Plus provides you with a very flexible “mode” system which you can use to setup your spectrum analyzer preferences. You may specify Fourier block size in samples, FFT window overlap percentage, spectrum's visual slope. Beside that you can choose to display secondary spectrum of a desired type (e.g. real-time maximum, all-time maximum). Spectrum can be smoothed out visually for an easier examination. SPAN Plus supports multi-channel analysis and can be set to display spectrums from two different channels or channel groups at the same time. Spectrum's color can be chosen to taste. SPAN Plus also features output level metering with adjustable ballistics and integration time, K-metering (including calibration K-metering). SPAN Plus displays level metering statistics, headroom estimation and clipping detection. Correlation metering is available as well. Not worth installing unless it requires iLok, translating sections of the Constitution into French (thanks @Fleer, those verbs mess with me) and paying in BitCoin. Of course I joke, it's a nice plugin. I originally picked this up in 2017, can't say that I've gotten any spam as I have more than once forgotten who WaveArts is. Oh yeah, they make... They have some other freebies too.

My only complaint with Blue Cat plugins is that they desperately need a unified installer.

Maybe, but I'm seeing that (BF deals continuing through Dec) all over the place. If I am going to upgrade I'll need a better deal. Not that it isn't a good product, I just didn't use v1 enough to justify upgrading it unless it's a smoking deal.

I picked up a bunch of excellent libs from the https://www.theunfinished.co.uk/ last year to use with my Omnisphere for a couple of projects and then went in an entirely another direction (haven't used any softsynths in my current round of projects). Back when , after my father had a heart attack I was staying with him & mom and didn't have access to my DAW - I ended up buying a number of 8dio libraries in part because of multiple people on this forum pushing sales like it was the new sliced bread and in part because it partially relieved my frustration. Once I got home and tried using several of them I was, to say the least, a little disappointed. Time intensive and awkward to use with less than stellar results - could have been all on me but not inclined to think so. I wrote it up in the I should have known better than to buy multiple libraries without actually using at least one of them first column and have not touched them since. So while I'm curious if Sound Paint makes their stuff usable I am reluctant to throw more money at that company.

Options: Picket, ChainLink, Cement Brick (pink), Cement Brick (gray - pink is brighter, but only golden-ears can tell difference), WoodPlank & finally Barb-Wire, 4 knobs - input, output, speed of bike & age of fence. Is that an issue since you get a free player license/version? It's only libraries that require the full version of Kontakt 7 where that might be a showstopper.

No problem registering it with Native Access v1.14.1 but need to install with the Sonokinetic app.

Uses iLok tech, but dongle isn't required. You can install it on directly your computer or use the cloud version. At this point I prefer using an iLok dongle to many of the other registration/activation schemes out there. But YMMV, really don't want to derail this thread on the merits +/- of iLok.
