  1. At least 100gb worth!! And that's just the nickle plated jingles. For the brass and bronze jingles.... whew! We talking big libs!! Then we gotta take into consideration the articulations needed for the tambourine head. Mule skin, sheep skin, plastic, coated, uncoated.......
  2. Here I thought this was going to be a spoof on tambourine playing!! But he was serious!! [edit] I never knew there "advanced" techniques of tambourine!! So I did learn something!!
  3. I use BiaB like Mark does. For inspiration. I have the Ultra Pak and like Mark stated, for what I do with it , it sounds great. I also just enjoy picking a style, and just throwing chords at it with no rhyme or reason and am constantly surprised at what it comes up with and good it sounds!! Yes you could probably use the tracks it generates in a final version of a song. Lots of musicians that play live use BiaB as back trks.
  4. Yes. And a editable Grid like Ezb and Ezd3
  5. Nice playing for sure. The holes? Did they really make that much a difference? I am kinda doubting that.

No, that's not me. It was a fellow from England named Joshua. And actually his melody and approach is different than what I had envisioned. I think he did a great job. I tried to get it touch with him many times after this song but never could. I was hoping we could collaborate again.
  8. I have seen her do that in person... twice!!
  9. Looks like it's in decent shape.

Yeah, Simeon did that horn arrangement. He said he just "threw it together"! He really is a talented musician. One of the joys of watching his videos is the stuff he comes up with on the fly!!
  11. Yeah I am the same way. And I don't bother with all the other BS that they have started including in True Image. Man this is just not going away is it? Subscriptions I mean. Does everything have to be subscription based? Good Grief Charlie Brown! I wonder if Ghost still runs on Win10?
  12. Because that's what I want. I have my reasons. Which include but are not limited to ones already mentioned in this thread. Organization Backup purposes Performance But most of all: If it ain't broke... Like a lot of users here I have a M2 drive for my system. And I want that drive to stay lean and clean, for the same reasons (see above) I keep my audio on a seperate drive.

Thanks you Marshall. It really was fun to perform and see the song change from what I had envisioned!

Never was a big fan of Helloween, but that rocked!! Great solo by the bassist! Drummer was really good too. Your vocals were great. I like that type of singing and you were nailing it!! An enjoyable watch.

    New mix In vain

Man that first part is better than I would have imagined it!! The way you slowly brought in the low back up voc was excellent!! Good job there. After the solo the volume drops. I am not sure if it's apparent volume or RMS, but my meter on the output did fall a little. Other than that little quirk of mine, you got a winner there! Great pic BTW.
  16. Interesting indeed. Really like the guitar riff throughout.
  17. Yeah, I noticed that. I just opened CWbBL and saw that I could do that. Pretty slick actually.

    "Remember" _Colab

This is a song I wrote long time ago. I had tried lots of different versions of it with me singing on all of them. Then the Gibson fiasco happened with Sonar and it becoming Cakewalk By Bandlab. So this new Bandlab Community thing was something I wanted to try. So I throw this song out there ( I posted it to the community) to see what it was all about. And what happened after that is the version I am posting. It became something I never envisioned. Some forum members contributed to this song. I have to give them credit for turning this song into something else! The reason I posted this is because RicF posted his song from the BandLab community and I was impressed with the simplicity of the player. So I went to my Bandlab account and saw that they have made some changes there. It does look like a much better site. And to be honest, it was very easy and a pleasure to colab with these people through that site. I kinda want to do it again. Are we looking at the future of music creation? I wrote the song. The structure and lyrics. Joshua did take my lyrics and changed some of them up to suit what he wanted to sing. The other parts were written by as follows: Guitar: @Grem Bass: @Lord Tim Drums: Single-Minded Organ: @dee Horns: @Simeon Amburgey Vocals: Joshua Mixed and Mastered by: Chris with @LittleStudios Any comments are welcomed.
  19. Well done. Good recording too. I never heard any breathing btw. That player, says BandLAb on it. Is that the regular Bandlab site? The community IOW.
  20. Nice Jerry. I listened to it first on my phone this morning while making my first cup of espresso. Then I listened to it on my studio monitors drinking my second cup! I can honestly say that the phone didn't do too bad. It gave me a general idea of how it went. But it lacked the depth and detail I am hearing now!! Well done piece that I enjoyed listening to several times on my main monitors. It does bring out emotions when listening. At first I feel wonder, then it gets dramatic and tense, then it evolves into a very happy spot I enjoy. Nice job. I can't tell you about how real the instruments sound because I am just a rock guitar player! But I can tell you I enjoyed it. I can tell you that it's well mixed. Clear and balanced. Well done.

    New mix In vain

This took me by surprise. Wasn't expecting this direction. But it is a good song. Well performed and produced. As others have said the guitar solo is really nice. On my second listen. Here is the feedback: Artistic suggestion: The low vocal that you have backing the main vocal throughout the song I would choose to selectively put it more in the background. Example, when your lead voc starts, so does the low spoken backing vocal. I wouldn't have it so loud in the beginning. I would have it almost inaudible until the 40sec mark when the chorus comes in, then bring up the level you have it at now. At the 1:04 mark this change sounds really good!! Vocals in this part are keepers!! And at the 1:27 mark this is very dramatic and fits the song well. [Side note: I didn't hear the first mix you put up, but to me the snare is too low on this mix. When it gets to the 2:38 mark the sound of the snare in that part sounds good. But parts before that I was missing it.] The layered vocals on the last chorus are really effective! Excellent idea, good performance and great mixing on that part!! I can really pick stuff apart. After the third and fourth listen I came up with these ideas!! Good song. Nice performance. Good Mix too!
  22. No need to apologize. I am feeling it a lot lately.
