  1. Thank you Douglas and kakku for the listen. This makes my day!! : )
  2. That's a really good drummer there!! He also looks pretty relaxed doing it too!
  3. That's great news Noel!! This will help alot.
  4. He's good ain't he!!? LoL!!
  5. I grabbed this. Reverb.com has some 808 samples for free to right now. I got them both.
  6. Buyer Beware Alert!! I got the RYM2612 and am not able to d/l the software. Reverb.com says in the webpage that a link will be sent by email. Well the link they send brings me back to MY Account Purchases. It has a link on it for me to d/l it from the software maker. That link brings me to the software product page that wants to sell me the software again, but no d/l link. Went to Reverb.com and had a chat with support. They said one or two days before someone will get back with me. I have a support ticket in at the software maker also. I tried this on FireFox and Chrome to make sure it wan't a browser issue. Update: The software makers have gotten back with me already. Really good response. Said they are going to contact Reverb.com and ask why this is happening. Still waiting. : (

That's what I did last month. My voucher didn't get used.
  8. Definitely. I thought the same thing too. Good job Larry.
  9. Yep, I like it heavy, somewhat. I'll give it a listen. It's good to get a variety of music in here. That's what I like about this place. It's all over the place!! Listened to Desolation and Requiem and I can say that's a little harder than I usually listen to. You did a good job on the Prodution. Both songs sounded like they came off the same album. Playing was executed well as was the recording/mix/mastering. At the end of Requiem, is that drummer really that fast? : ) If so, give him props!! That was quite a finish!!
  10. What I do Mark is Freeze the trk and Archive it. This way if years later (it's happened) the software I used on that trk is no longer available, I still have that frozen trk. Un-Archive it and you can look to see what's in it as far as fx. Then I can make the decision to unfreeze or not.
  11. Yes I am seeing this too. I use the Alt key shortcut to do splits on the fly and the cursor will not change until I move it slightly while holding the Alt key. It use to be if my cursor was on a clip and I pressed the Alt key, the cursor would instantly change. And since you and I are both seeing the same thing, but doing it in different ways, I would say it's a bug! A very minor one, but a bug nonetheless!! : )
  12. This is intended behavior. And at first I thought that it should respect the changes made to the frozen trk. However, as time went on I saw that the state in which the trk was frozen is the state it returns to, has tremendous benefits. Allows you to save a state of the trk, then drag the frozen audio to a new trk, manipulate the heck out of it, and then, like LT says, if you want/need to change a certain aspect of it, then you still have that original version!! This benefit may not be realized until many months have passed, even years!
  13. Did you have the Now Time Marker located at the first beat? Maybe the way you performed the Tempo Change only inserted a Tempo Change for that first beat, and left the rest alone, at the previous tempo. Are you new to this DAW software? If so, may want to check out some tutorials and get familiar with it. Cakewalk is a very powerful and feature rich program. To get the most out of your experience with it you will want to do some reading of the manual. It is setup to give you very good info on the things you would like to do with the software. It also gives us some common ground so that when you come to ask questions, you can refer to a section of the manual and we will know exactly what your talking about/trying to do. And from there we can guide you to the best way to do what your trying to do. HTH
  14. Makes it snap 'To' the Snap setting. The more 'relaxed' this setting is the less it will snap to the grid (what ever the snap setting is).
  15. I tried to repro but couldn't. Didn't try the Basic lens. I always use None for the Lens.
  16. I am thinking its a bug if it happening to all your projects. Have you restarted your computer to see if it fixes it? May be a graphic driver issue. The restart would eliminate that. And if it still happens, then I would report it as a bug. When you reset the CB, what are you doing to reset it?
  17. When you say "New Project" do you mean a brand new project with nothing in it? Or a new project as in a different project? If you mean the first one, then I would send in a report on this. Sounds like a bug if you can get it to do it all the time.
  18. Definitely a wrap on that!! Sounds good and polished. Here on my system at work everything came across well. Vocals out front, not too much, heard all the guitars and bass. Here at work on this system the drums did seem a little low in spots, but never lost them in the mix. Good song. I like the lyrics!! : ) Really good guitar work on this, all the lead and harmonies, and the crunch rhythm was spot on!! Good work Bat. Really good.
  19. This was a nice trk. It started off kinda... and then it came in with a bang!! That was nice. Good intro there. Good clean mix though out the song. I thought the drums really sounded good. Especially the fills and rolls. Good work there.
  20. That's what it was for my wife. Space, money, kept the only good pianos she played on at the recitals halls. Once a year! And me having more than one great guitar, and more than one great amp, I really felt bad. 'cause I know what it's like to play on good instruments all the time, I wanted her to have that same experience.
  21. This is probably the most important thing said. As you can tell by all the different responses you got. Use your ears!
