  1. I liked this as is Tom. Don't change it!! Leave it. : ) The beginning was nice with that bass groove going and other instruments falling in. As I was listening, I kept wondering was people palying along with you? Or was this all done ITB? Loved the piano break in the middle, how the drums stopped, the bass kept going then... just you, with a different section all your own. Is that someone picking a guitar after this piano solo? And when the drums do come back in they have a very real feel to them. And as others have said, the Theremin... that just took it to another place. Really good work from a creative point. Not even gonna comment on the mix, but since you asked... Excellent job all around.
  2. Not bad. Nice tune. I could hear the other guitar. Was that you also? What mic was you using? I got some old stuff I might post.
  3. Quite impressive at that. You keep strumming, sounds great to me. As I am listening I am trying to figure out how you used only two fingers!! Good work. : )
  4. I did the same thing. @Johnbee58 That was a good song. Really well written and performed. Guitar sounded like a 12 string. The Clarinet sounded like a synth!! That is something to be proud of. Do you remember what mic you used? Was it the on-board mic? Can't remember if they had one.
  5. I like it Daryl. It has an island feel to it. The sound of the keys keeps it very interesting. Didn't pay much attention to the lyrics because I really was into the music. Almost a bossa-nova type thing going too!! Bass simple and to the point. Sounds like a stand-up bass. Like the ending too! The drums sounded like somebody played them. IOW, real human drummer, Guitar tone is great. I like that. Good effort.
  6. I liked this Bat. Loved the lead, excellent work with the delay too. The harmony leads really stood out as a highlight of the song to me. As I was listening I could see you running around the stage having a grand ole time!! It has that kind of feel to it for me. The half speed break in the middle was really tasteful and next thing I know..... it was back up to speed and jamming! Really good work there. I'd say that one is a keeper.

Another good go at it Jesse. I am always surprised and impressed with how you take noise and organize it into music!! Always listen to see where your going to go with it.
  8. You get my drift there MeshMan!!
  9. I bet a whole lot more would too!!
  10. What was I saying just yesterday!!! PA take note!!
  11. I got in on the Dec sale long time ago. Must have been around 2012. I upgraded only several times after that first purchase, and every time it was around the Dec sale! That was until 2015 and I have upgraded every year since. Like I said, their product line can be confusing. It's taken me a while to figure it out and incorporate the main product in my workflow.I really got drawn in with the Real Drums/Tracks products. I almost ignored the midi side of it due to my lack of knowledge. It wasn't till recent when I finally figured out how to use all the good instruments I own in BiaB. That opened up a flood gate for me! I didn't realize how really good BiaB could sound with nice instruments. And that's when I started to look at the Style Disc's they have. Waiting on a sale of those too!! I have a song right now that I plan on using the Real Tracks that I wrote the song with. They just sound really good. I have added some stuff to it, but those original trks are gonna stay! : ) BiaB is really a very powerful song writing/performance tool that you really have to read the manual and watch some videos to get the full potential of the program. IOW, to get your money's worth!!
  12. The guitar is included!! WOW~~! : ) I'll be getting this. I ain't gonna wait on this one!!
  13. Took me to Chat with support to find this out. It really is needlessly confusing. Yes they do, I have to agree here. That's why I want them all!! Tell me about it. 😀 That's why I was asking a few weeks ago about when they go on sale. I was looking to get some more Style sets too. Might wait till BF and see what they offer. So when I saw your thread I jumped at it to all of a sudden sit back and say... wait a minute. What Do I want? What do I have? Will I be buying something I already have? And on and on!!
  14. Maybe they are reacting to PA sky-high-into-the-stratosphere prices on their new stuff that they just put out that Waves think "Maybe we misjudged the market, and people really want to pay more than $29 for our plugins!!!"
  15. That means they don't get what made it a cult fav. This new one will most likely sink quietly into the night.... I just didn't think anybody would really consider a remake!! I was like YGTBKR? : )
  16. Checking into this now. I have all the Real Styles and Real Drums, so I can't tell if I have these already.
  17. Anything you stick that thing on sounds better!!
  18. Ya'll serious? I had to look that up. Why? I mean... just why? That's like remaking 'Ghost Whisperer' (not that I eva watched that show). Just "Why?"
  19. Went back to PA to try and figure out what I wanted. To put it bluntly, I am trying to figure out a way to get the new flanger for cheap. So I stick it and two $49 stomp boxes in the cart. I get the 30% dynamic discount. But even with my $50 voucher, it's still over $120. Not happening. Even if I still got the $75 voucher that would still be right at $99 and that ain't happening either. For a flanger? You got to be freaking kidding!!! Right? So I think, maybe put a couple of $29 plugins that I already have that will help bring it down some more. I thought, "Yes, I am on to something!! Larry would be proud of me!!" WRONG! Dynamic discount doesn't work with the $29 plugins. That went below lame in my opinion. Check your PM Fleer.
  20. Yep. Since you have Mercury also!!
  21. Do not overlook the EQ 73, 81, PA, and PB. These EQ's give a nice smoothness to a distorted guitar in my opinion. Don't over do it, but a little really adds a nice touch. Turn the input up and adjust output accordingly. And don't discount those Quad plugins. Overlooked workhorses IMHO. I almost forgot to mention the 670 comp. I love that thing on a bass guitar. Just gives it an old school richness. Last but not in the least, the one that got me going on old school EQ's, the EQP-1A Program EQ is perhaps my favorite sounding Pultec emulation I have. And I got quite a few. To be honest, there is not a dud in the bunch of modules for T-Racks.
  22. This was a great explanation Morten. Having never used Lens before, this has me thinking I may want to investigate them a little further.
