Looking back there would be a lot I would have done differently on levels etc. The thing is because it is live streaming... there is no PA.. just monitors and I have too also monitor with my IEMs. You push the master buss harder than you normally would with a PA to get the levels out. Very different way of working and the decision are very quickly made.

This is a song I was working on this Sunday... one of twelve to be honest. A live Christmas concert with one of the artist being Christian Ingebrigtsen who is famous for being in the band "A1". The song is about what was Josephs thoughts when he heard Mary was pregnant and would have a son. Live sound is tricky as you have to react fast. Quite a few artists one after another.. different eq settings and different monitor requirements.. I was sweating on this one. In a studio you have time to fix things... with "live" you just go for it and try not to make huge changes that people notice 🙂 Joseph Mixed on a Allen & Heath DLive

Hi Mark. This is more of a tighter sound than I am used from you (dry). Would also agree with the bass comments. I don't think you have that far to go regarding bass volume though... I think its a tone thing and its just masked?

I have had stage fright once... As a singer and conferencier now for many years.. Someone told me to pick someone out of the audience and just focus on them and speak to them normally as you would every day. best advice I was ever given. I can perform to 1000's and don't feel nervous at all. I used to be a really shy guy with a bad stutter... the first time I went busking cured that 🙂

I have been with Cakewalk since day 1. Also invested in Vs Studio system and still use it now (except the rack unit) with my Apollo X8p. I have owned a lot of the Presonus mixers which I have used for Live Sound Engineering but still always use Cakewalk for my every day use. I know it, Love it, and Im not willing to re-learn different DAWS as its a waste of my time. I have licences to the Presonus stuff if anyone would like them?

Very nice. There are quite a few Christians on this forum 🙂 I have a lot of songs I wrote when I was a younger man that I havnt got down to record yet. Maybe we could collaborate on a few that I think fits your style of playing. God Bless mate.
