  2. Fine job Bjorn - I thought it was a good song - and you can sing better than you think - this was the best vocal performance I've heard from you.
  3. Nice - you did a good job on this cover - I always liked this one - a great song. That must have been a tough drum track to program - sounds right to me. I agree with the strings needing to come up a bit more in the mix - I thought they could use some more verb as well.
  4. Cool tune - I really liked it when the brass came in. Excellent mix.
  5. Thanks for your crits Jack - Happy Holidays.

    my anger

That was interesting - the mood of the song definitely sounds like anger. When your vocal comes in - that was wild.

  11. Hi Everybody, This is a track off of the album I'm currently working on called "The Westerly Sessions Volume V". As always, any comments or critiques are welcome, and thanks for listening. The lead vocal was sung with an AKG C214 through a Chameleon Labs 7603 mic preamp. The backing vocals were sung with an AT4040. The rhythm guitar was played with a Guild OM-140. The lead guitar was my Fender Strat through my ART MPA Gold preamp through TH-U. The bass guitar is my Ibanez SR500. The synths are UVI Synthology 3. The drums are AD2. To me the vibe of this composition is positive and also relaxing - a fine mood to set for the listener. Happy Holidays.

  21. Hey Tom - I agreed with you regarding the bass - so I boosted it at 150 - I already had a high pass filter at 300 for the rhythm guitars - anyway - now it sounds better to me. Thanks for lending your ears to my song, and Happy Holidays.
  22. Hi Paul - I thought it was a cool rocking song - and it has an effective riff driving it. I agree with some of the posters above that the mix is a bit boxy. I enjoyed your lead vocal - well done there.

  24. I thought this track had a cool vibe to it - I liked the bass synth patch which drives the song. This would be cool for a TV or movie soundtrack - well done.
  25. I liked your lead vocal - there's a bit of grit to it that fit the song well. And wow, there was a lot going on instrumentally - it must have taken you quite a bit of time to mix this one. I thought it was a cool song - well done.
