  1. Nice job on your application of synths in this - that was quite a variety of sounds - well done.

    Look Away

Hi Everybody, This is a track off of the album "The Westerly Sessions Volume II". It's a bit of a jazzy number, and it gave me a chance to use the AD2 jazz brush kit. Anyway, see what you think of it, and as always, thanks for listening. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14078299
  3. I think it's a cool song - and the mix sounded quite good to me - I had a Tascam 4 track back in the 90s - brings back memories. As always, an excellent vocal by you - nicely done. Also, that drum track sounds solid - was that a drum machine you used on this back in the 80s?
  4. Thanks for listening and for the kind comments.
  5. Thanks for listening Markku.
  6. Thanks for listening Bjorn - I'm working on quite a bit of original material right now - perhaps I'll do some covers at some point.
  7. Thanks for the thumbs up Tom.
  8. I have about a dozen large condenser mics - out of the lot, I would say my Audio Technica AT4040 is one of my best - for around $300 new it's an excellent mic and a bargain for that price. You might be able to get it a bit cheaper if you shop around.

    November Jam

  11. Thanks for listening Wookiee - I appreciate it.
  12. Nicely done Bjorn - I really enjoyed watching this video. You have developed a talent for making creative videos and the accompanying musical scores. The mix of the score sounded top-notch to my ears. Regarding the content - what if there are multiple universes - and if so, what does that mean? What is beyond our universe or multiple universes? Fun to think about that sort of thing.
  13. Very nice David - quite a pleasant listen. The mix sounded good to my ears.
  14. That's an impressive mix Starise - nicely done. I enjoyed the listen very much - it put me in quite a pleasant mood. Only crit - abrupt ending.
  15. I think this could use some changes in the melody and groove early on - just what I thought while listening. Also, the volume is quite low through my cans on my laptop.
  16. The synths you used in this made me think of raindrops - so well done there - creative.
  17. I agree with Ed - the AAMS sounded a bit better than the other version - although it's not a huge difference - more a subtle difference. Good song - nicely done - quality lead vocal.
  18. Very relaxing - I thought it was a top-notch mix. It's always interesting to see what you're using for your compositions. I thought SD3 sounded quite good to my ears.
  19. I thought the video went along quite nicely with the music - it sounded epic to me - well done.
  20. Thanks Ed - I'm glad you liked the mix - I appreciate your opinion.
  21. I appreciate you giving a bit of the album a listen - it was fun to remix and try to polish it up.
