Here is one I started this time last year, for various reason it got abandoned due to circumstance some know about, other do not need to know. It uses most all the normal treasured toy sources, Arturia, Cherry Audio, Toontrack, Boz Digital, Overloud and of course Cakewalk plugins. Entirely composed, recorded, mixed and finalised in CbB. I hope you enjoy, I am sorry it is another 6:38 tune, I have no control over what the ether feeds me I just channel whatever arrives.

@steve@baselines.com Interesting, any chance of the lyrics? Some nice playing, cool guitar tones, mix works here. Taoist Wu wei wu the Art of Doing not Doing. Is not as simple as it seems, it does not mean "not doing" as with any Taoist text it context is so important in its interpretation. Thanks for sharing the end of days insights I will read more deeply later.

Thank you Nigel, for the drums I used the basic SD2 Avatar kit, but in the SD3 engine, a few tweaks to its mixer, changed the default snare. Then used the Pro Channel version of Boz Digitals, David Bendeth +10dB compressor in parallel mode.

False positive, I use Malwarebytes it has never complained about Cakewalk downloads. Try reporting it or get a more reliable AV Malware program.

Thank you sir. It is the original default Avatar kit from SD2 but in the SD3 engine, a little tweak in the mixer, different snare as well.

Thank you Jeff. I can understand the Who connection, the tune involves 4 instruments playing ARP patterns, one 24 steps, one 16 steps, one 8 steps. The 4th ARP is a little different from the other 3, playing a I, IV, V, over 8 steps, finishing V, VI. The 24 step pattern starts it all, after 48 bars the 16 step pattern overlaps in a 24 bar repeat. Then the 8 step pattern starts after another 24 bars repeating until the end. Each pattern steps are based on a major scale progression. The 4th pattern only shows itself a random points. The bass and drums are there just for some fun, growing in content as it progresses to add some interest. Appreciate your ears and comments.

Interesting, mix sound OK here.

The one thing that stands out is the the lack of weight in the drums, especially the kick. is it because the vocals are to forward with the rest of the mix. The backing sounds balanced but the vox is a bit forward. Perhaps just these furry ears mix not quite to your normal standard sir sorry.

I think I get it but as noted it needs some additional ear candy to keep ones attention, I got distracted sorry. The mix sounds good here but....

It works here, I can hear what there, in their place, good tune.

Sound's fine here, mix sounds balanced, well sung emotion communicated.
