The major difference that I see is the built in time line and song creator in EZdrummer. I have almost everything AD2 has to offer but for quick ideas and jamming EZdrummer seems handy. The integration AD2 has with Addictive Trigger brings a lot of value if your in to drum replacement.
This seems like 'no brainer' territory for EZdrummer2, no? I have EZ keys and EZ bass, I like the song builder component of the EZ line. I'm hoping I can do this without going down another rabbit hole chasing drums!
Addictive Trigger is awesome and the fact that it utilizes samples from AD2 makes it an incredible value. If I had one feature request for AD2, it would be to implement a song builder like EZ Drummer, EZ keys, EZ Bass, etc.

This covers it pretty well. The ability to work on multiple tracks at once in the studio version is also quite useful.
