  1. At first, I thought you were talking about the Greg Wells Vocal chain. Comp1 Comp2 Vocals ->EQ-> ->EQ Comp3 Comp4 Comp5 Lead vocal 5 compressors parallel mix trick. They all can have EQ before and after each Compressor. All the compressors are different ones.
  2. I would like to see the freeze and archive buttons on buses in the console view. It would be nice to be able to freeze sections/groups of instruments. Archive would be great too. Both of these could help projects that are loaded with synths and plugins.
  3. Yes, I used to have one of those. It was great in the day for strings and brass.
  4. Yes. I watched a youtube with Michael Brauer showing how he remixed a 2 track by spliting it with RX then using SPL De-Verb and unveil to almost completely zap the reverb. Then he remixed it and put it all back together! It's long ,but good info! (Fernando does most of the work lol)
  5. I have used samplitude since it was Red Roaster. I didn’t do very many upgrades because of the high upgrade prices. I do love it for mastering and burning CDs. I also have wavelab and sound forge, but I think Samplitude is the best for mastering and burning!
  6. Especially when combined with plugin Alliance SPL De-verb!
  7. I have done this with percussion tracks too. It gives you that extra horsepower you need to do some quick editing. I always wanted a way to freeze buses to free resources too. It would help under powered computers to keep that snappy response by lowering cpu and disk access.
  8. Making a copy of the track and archive it is the best way.
  9. I have a lot of stuck notes. All are Kontakt samples. I click on the reset button like McLeod said. As soon as I hit play the stuck note starts again. It is very bothersome! I’ll go check my settings
  10. Don't stop there, add archive too. Oh yes, please add archive the bus area too!
  11. How about 1) regular open - open song 2) safe open - with check boxes (shift open) 3) Sandbox mode - cake figures out the problem, so you don't have to (alt open) I don't care if it's slow and checks the plugins one at a time. I just don't want to keep opening it over and over again to figure out what it is that is causing the crash. It doesn't even have to play the song. It could just be a diagnostic tool. There are always going to be bad plugins or combinations that cause problems. There are many occasions that crash because of a combination of plugins - they just don't like each other lol!
  12. And wouldn't it be nice it that program had a red dot by the problem plugins!
  13. FL Studio (previously known as FruityLoops before 2003) I went for the lifetime FruityLoops update 2002. Soon after, they discontinued FruityLoops and all updates were stopped. They changed the program name to FL Studio. Everyone that bought the "Lifetime" version was screwed. It is the same program just renamed. A technicality use to get out of the "Lifetime" updates.
  14. I was just texting Noel. I requested a "Sandbox" type app to load a project to look for potential plugin problems. Or, something you could turn on that would show plugin errors. It does not sound like an easy task!
  15. I'm paranoid about image line! I bought Fruity loops lifetime. So, they went and changed the name of the product to FL Studio. Same product, but no updates for my lifetime product because it is a "NEW" product. Very unethical move.
  16. Izotope and Melda do not have $29 plugins lol! On Waves, you don't have to wait till Black Friday $29 is an always on sale price. Bundles are great on Black Friday and now like now on platinum. IK is great on group buys. Izotope is good in black friday! $99 is a bargain. I paid $1500 for Waves Gold many years ago.
  17. Wow, that's amazing. Someone should post this. Is it ok if I do it?
  18. ClarityVX is phenomenal! You would have to try it for yourself to see what it does. I just did some video "Audio" editing for a high-end wedding videographer. She was amazed with the results and so was I! I also had to use Unveil and SPL De-Verb! The audio was a mess.
  19. You never have to WUP. I have gone several years at times. It just depends. If your favorite plugins have had improvements and whether your bundle adds new plugins you want, go for it.
  20. Well, I have been working on this for a few days. It seems to be fixed for some reason. The original crash was 09 or one version before that. Since then, I have updated two times. At this time, there are NO crashes!! I do wish there was some way to look for faulting plugins. It's always someone taking shortcuts programming plugins and not strictly following VST3 protocol. There will always be great new plugins that you want to try that are faulty. Maybe there could be a "sandbox" app with white noise or something to check for faults. I hope you guys can figure out something. Thanks to you and all the team for all the hard work you are putting into Cakewalk! The bug fix list is phenomenal! It would be cool to have a count of how many have been fixed since Bandlab took ownership. The Lexicon Dual Delay bug was fixed also that's for that too. Thank you, Max Arwood
  21. It is kind of a pain. Every time you reopen the piano view, you get to close a bunch of empty controller lanes you are not using, so you can actually see the ones you want to work with.
  22. Yes, I do large projects. Sometimes 100+ tracks and 100+ plugins. If one is bad, it takes forever to unselect each one from loading.
  23. I'm a sucker for saturation apps! I'll go check this one out, I thought it looked like Vertigo VSM-3 - Almost the same "color" lol!
  24. I didn't see that. Thanks for the heads up.
