agree that bundled stuff is important to new users, a shame that bandlab aren't bundling anthing
also agree that air aren't the be-all-and-end-all of plugins
fwiw, a lot (all?) of the x1 gui choices were made to enable touch functionality, the latest hardware gimmick at the time... it was a long wait for it to get finished

yes, so there are three volume stages here? midi volume level, then the one generated internally by the vst based on the midi volume, and then the audio output of that/track - midi --> vst --> track?
I think you should be mixing the audio out of your midi tracks, so don't mix the levels via the midi track volume setting but rather via the audio output from those instruments
well, i'm just installing a new laptop, and one of my investigations is if that i can just get along with included plugs... i've installed live 9 and so 3, so by today's digital standards it's a bit like restricting myslef to a 4-track
great vocal, but the arrangement could be more interesting? (ie, why bother doing a cover if it's pretty much the same as the original? sorry if i sound harsh)
