  1. Not only that but the last update was bug fixes only. I hope it's a massive leap forward in development.
  2. Works fine with my Focusrite iTrack Solo. Sounds nice, and the Mute knob is brilliant!
  3. LOL I thought NI was actually selling motherboards.
  4. It was pretty interesting until he started equating modern pop with classical music in terms of them being too sanitized and obsessed with playing 'clean' notes with no deviation from that, and then said that blues was the solution to this 'problem'. Only blues is truly free, only American music from HIS generation can 'save the day'. He doesn't even mention that classical Western music is much more complex harmonically, melodically, rhythmically, and structurally than any modern genre, and failed to realized that contemporary renditions of classical pieces do not necessarily equate to how they were played in the past...
  5. Yeah, that shepherd flute thing is awesome. I'm planning on using it in a video about the Inca civilization for a friend's YT channel, funnily enough, since they had flutes that sound sort of similar.
  6. The MIDI features look pretty nice to me, it's not Cubase but not bad either.
  7. These guys are on a roll.
  8. That seems like a Reaper point release 😂
  9. The guy lost hours of work, I can understand his frustration, how is he a troll? The way that most people reacted to his complaints like he was a member of an enemy tribe was absolutely sad and pathetic. People suck.
  10. All that drama for 6 freaking boxes that you can speed-click.
  11. I own X-Eight and it works great.
  12. In the meantime this free plugin can be used for negative delay: https://dmgaudio.com/products_trackcontrol.php
  13. Ok, I was about to try an orchestral project in CbB and didn't realize that the time delay in the track inspector was in "MIDI time". Time delay in ms is an absolute must for orchestral stuff.
  14. Do you guys have a strategy for using up/oversampling? Use your ears and choose on a per-track bases? How to easily detect cramping in an eq, for example?
  15. Yeah, that can happen. I recommend the Heda Track Inspector, it’s really essential. I don’t install anything that I don’t feel like I need to make music in my workflow, even if they look nice and shiny. I didn’t install anything else from the VIP thing.
  16. If a plugin is oversampled already REAPER will just ignore it if it’s at a higher sample rate than specified.
  17. Yes, use it all the time. You can also side-chain any plugin! No matter if it has the functionality by default or not.
  18. REAPER’s oversampling is per FX or per FX chain, 🤘
