  1. Hope they do offer an upgrade path for those of us that have the previous version as a perpetual license.
  2. I’ve found occasional deals where I’ve been able to get perpetual licenses for some of their subscription only items. Never on their site but through a discounter. On one of them I received the full one year subscription but I just installed the perpetual license item. I agree that subscriptions should be avoided.
  3. I think Saturday Night's Alright for Fightin' is a pretty rockin' song.
  4. Even better! You’re always a big help Larry!
  5. I was waiting for this one. Had seen some YouTube clips which highlighted these. I saw that once a year they do this so had been anticipating this.
  6. Plug-in Guru’s Unify is neck and neck with this pace. Both fantastic!
  7. there are five in total - various YouTube clips available for each individually and then on using them together. Normally each one is pricey.
  8. Seriously? Even that one?! You must own stock in Toontrack.
  9. On one hand these all can be used independently to apply very subtle improvements. All of the Fusion VSTs are modules from one existing (and supposedly popular or at least respected) Fusion hardware unit. In a sense if one ultimately has all five of these, the overall touches that the much more expensive Fusion hardware can provide can theoretically be achieved by these in combination.
  10. Getting it now. This is the remaining Fusion item I didn’t have to complete the collection - all at discount at one time or another. I use these!
  11. It’s the UVI U1250 for me as well. Demo sounds great! At that price? Easy!
  12. Agreed - and with drag and drop Midi we can combine bits and ideas between them. I do the same thing alternating segments from EZ Bass or EZDrummer3 and UJAM corresponding apps. Or also with Addictive Drums 2. And assigning sounds from any of those can end up with great stuff. Definitely like NI Session tools in all of that! We’re in such a nice golden age where all these tools are so deluxe and fun to use!
  13. I haven’t installed yet but definitely will be soon!
  14. Grabbed this one. I now only await Fusion Transformer. I have found these SSL Fusions work really well on the master or pre-master bus. Subtle, but improving the sound with each which I think is the right thing for clarity additions on the final step. I'm likin' them!
  15. Bias FX2 and Blue Cat Axiom are the two I use the most. Interested to see what this addition is about!
  16. Fan of SSL but not of any subscription.
  17. music theory and going to the gym - both sound exhausting! Putting them together in one phrase sheesh!
  18. I don’t need banjo in the music style I write in. But I want this anyway. I may never incorporate it in a song but seems like it would be fun to goof around with. I know I’ll never bother to learn the banjo.
  19. It’s an idea to compare the difference in price.
  20. I picked it up on this sale and had my first round with it this last weekend. I heard in one dated YT review that they were a Battery user and preferred this. From my first light experimentation the sounds are definitely good for their throwback category. I figured out how to sync it with my DAW (Studio One), to adjust patterns, to pick sounds and to drag and drop the Midi. Synching wasn’t a button but placing a dedicated Midi note on the timeline. I have Battery but I’m not even a mild user of it. I can’t compare them. I can say I made a loop with Beatbox Anthology 2, I like the loop, it was easy to do and for the price it seems like a good buy and a quality addition to my sound possibilities. I’ll be using it I think rather than filing it in the drawer. Still lots more to experiment with. Maybe too much. But it’s pretty intuitive.
  21. Yeah, the Best Service provided serial number works fine when doing the steps described above. It was a comparatively great price! The new version is slick. Just getting familiar with it.
