As I said before, I'm using CW 2020.09 and I'm pretty sure that the issue was present before then, maybe even as far back as when Melodyne v4 was released. The initial release version certainly had a few issues.

When Melodyne comes up blank, clicking again on the selected audio clip in Track view works for me. (2020.09). I'm so used to doing it now that I'd forgotten that it was a problem.

The original v.1 guitar and drum products I had were fine for me. I only started to have problems when I upgraded one of the drummer vsts to v.2, so I guess that's when they broke them. As "compensation" for having a broken v2, they gave me a GM One licence ( that was already being given away elsewhere anyway) which also has the same problem. LMAO. I haven't even bothered to try the basses as they look very much like they are built on the same platform, so I would expect the same problems.

The guy I was dealing with actually said that I should just buy studio one if I wanted it to work properly as they "don't know how to fix it". It's probably fair to say that I left him in little doubt what I thought about the idea of changing a DAW program just to accommodate one drum vst.

The more "sales" I see, the more I lose interest. Not just here, but in all areas of life. I find the relentless pursuit by whatever business for whatever money I may or may not have really quite tiresome.

FWIW this product has the same UJAM acknowledged problem as the other UJAM drummer VST's when used in Cakewalk.

It would certainly be nice to be able to make use of the synths in S1. Seems a bit petty to lock them down. If I own a licence to use them, then I own a licence to use them. What difference does how I use them make to Presonus ?

Reminds me of when I changed my car last time.....I usually buy and sell privately, but that was proving easier said that done on this occasion, so when I saw exactly the car I had been looking for at a local main dealer I moved quickly so as not to miss out. The dealer gave me a trade-in figure, but wasn't bothered if he had my car or not, so the deal was struck at one value with trade in and one for straight purchase. As there were a few days before I could collect the new one I put out an honest ad saying what I had been offered as trade in, but that the first person who could beat that by the end of the week could have it. One guy called me and offered 50% less than what the trade in figure was. I asked him what made him think I would take far less than I was already going to get. He said that he didn't think it worth that much, so I asked him why he called then ? He had no answer for that, so I hung up. Over the next day or so, he called me many times, but I didn't answer because I recognised the number, so he left me 5 or 6 messages with each one upping his offer, but all were still less than the trade-in value. Sometimes it concerns me that these types of people walk among us....

Does anybody actually look at them all though? At any time, not just BF? I might open this forum most days but I don't even look at most of the threads and whisper it quietly..........I hardly ever buy anything.... Ssshhhh........don't let everyone know my dirty little secret. What I do buy is mostly from companies whose various "sales" are so predictable that I already know by now what the sale will be and when it will happen, so I just wait for that to happen and act accordingly. There really are very few surprises from the vendors of products that interest me.

Talk about dragging it out.......bored already.
