On my system, pressing CTRL+SHIFT+5 opens the tempo track. A subsequent press of CTRL+SHIFT+5 does not hide the tempo track. There is a keybinding for “Show/Hide Tempo Track” , this definitely acts as a toggle.

If I do a marquee select of certain tempo events, the “Tempo Events”is greyed out in the “Copy Special”dialogue box

On my system, they do not work if the tempo events are the only items selected - the tempo check box of the copy/cut special dialogue is greyed out if the tempo events are the only items selected.

I checked mine - it's definitely there....

What exactly are “their plugins”?

For this to work properly and to be the most in sync, both of you will need the foliating: A good quality USB audio interface. High-speed internet with good upload and download speed. A wired connection to the respective router (Wifi is not going to cut it) Some kind of cabled internet (No Satellite, no radio dish or anything like that) I do not use Zoom, so I am not sure that would be quick enough. Even then you won't be able to eliminate all latency

He could configure the remote’s audio feed to go to a 2nd sound card. Then use a hardware mixer to route that card’s signal to the input of the sound card that Cakewalk uses.

Did you completely close down your browser? Maybe delete your browser's cache (Mine does on browser shut down)

In track 3 I notice there are multiple patch change events. Of course, the patch that will be active is the last patch change event before the first note event So what you need to do is make sure that last patch change event before the note start is actually the patch you want to use. To get a better guitar tone, you are probably going to have to spend some coin I think TTS-1 can output a track to a separate audio track and then use Prochannel EQ on just that track. (I don't use TTS-1 so I am just guessing) You could use a separate instance of TTS-1 just for track 3 and use EQ on just that instance. You might also use CC74 and CC71 to change the filter low pass frequency and resonance. You will just have to experiment until you get the desired tone if possible.

If you are worried about the space the core install of a previous DAW takes, then I believe it’s time to consider upgrading your system drive.

I believe I have the latest versions of the various Windows runtime libraries (C++ 2019 14.29.30031) Of course, my computer is not configured to trigger a debugger when applications crash. So, if a program did silently crash, would an event be generated in the Windows system or application logs?

Now I am not saying there is not an issue at you end, but on my system (configured as per my signature) I am not getting any crashes with any of the updated AAS synths. They just work - within Cakewalk by Bandlab, a slim host and standalone. Using CbB, I recorded MIDI into a track with a SIT of String Studio VS-3 v3.2.0. I played it back, saved, exited and reloaded, played again, then exited. I then reloaded, replaced that same track's instrument with Chromaphone 3 v3.1.0 (using a dual layer patch). played, saved, exited and reloaded, played again, then exited. I did not experience any crashes. Nor have I ever so far There has got to be something particular about your system that is causing this on your end Hopefully AAS will get back to you. I have actually recently reported a bug with Ultra-Analog-Va3 3.2.0 and they have acknowledged it, and will “ have a fix for that very soon”. FWIW, you might want to send Cakewalk support a crash dump, to confirm it is the plugin actually causing the crash. Maybe CbB is interacting with the updated plugin in a way that the new plugin does not like but was tolerated with the previous version.

Depending on the specs of your PC - that might be enough. you may simply need just the USB Audio interface. My PC is using the configuration as per my signature and I can still get some decent results with no dropouts.
