  1. Yes I did. Got three generic codes in my account. Will use two of them on these new EDX's and save the other for a later date. Hoping they come out with some new EZK midi soon.
  2. Best Service has a EDX 3 pk for $162. The price for regular EDX is $81. So buying three is like getting one free!! Yeah, that's how you do it Michael!! Talk yourself into walking over the edge... and never looking back!!!
  3. Kinda excited about these. I will end up getting the 3 pack from TT for $180. Unless someone knows a better deal. Maybe BestService?
  4. It does look good. I mean... it looks real good!! Clean, like I wanna touch it!
  5. I enjoyed the video. I felt he was sincere. I don't watch all his videos but the ones I have are good. I will watch more. Bit, Craig and Kenny make excellent points.
  6. But I did read it as venture!! Until you said the above and I went back and re-read the post!!
  7. I would tell myself: keep writing songs. Don't kid yourself into thinking that you can mix and master. Leave that to those more skilled in it than you. Your ears aren't that well trained. But irony of that is, as bit pointed out, I wouldn't have listened to myself.
  8. Oh yeah baby!! Oh yeah!! After reading this I recorded an old chord progression (I call it a song! Never had a name for it.) I have with some fill. Then I got EZK2 to "Replace MIDI" and the first four suggestions were stunning. I am truly amazed at what it suggested. So I saved the four parts and will use them in a song. This is really a fine piece of software.
  9. Ijust installed this and opened it up. I went straight for the grooves to hear how it sounds. The first groove that came up I hit play and I liked it. But It wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear. To me the chord changes went in another direction to what I was feeling listening to the groove. So I switch to the Grid tab, and within a very few minutes I had it exactly as I was expecting it to sound. I was very easily able to switch notes that I thought didn't fit, and tame other notes I thought were too dominate. This is my new keyboard player!! Oh yeah Bapu!!! Oh yeah!! [TOTP!]
  10. We got the blind leading the blind up in here!! LOL
  11. Apparently that was enough to run everyone off!!
  12. Haven't d/l yet. But excited to see EZK2 in action based on these reviews.
  13. I just tried to d/l and TTPM is not showing any installer yet. It is 11pm CST USA. But there was updates for all my EZK EXP. [edit] PSA: Still seeing the Pre-Order sale on the TT website.

That album the he did with SRV is killer. If.you haven't listened to it you owe it to yourself to catch a few of the songs. If you listen to one song let it be "Stop". Killer song.. Killer!!
  15. CWbBL has tape emulation built into each track. Works as expected and is very light on cpu. And it comes with several tape options. Page 1119 of the reference manual explains all the features.
  16. Great song. Love it too. Listened to Mud Slide Slim when it came out. Another great story teller. Yep.
  17. Yes, that's what I was wondering too. IIRC when TR5 came out, didn't it have an improved audio engine? I think that was one of the selling points/driving force to upgrade back then. As fas as the second question, IK ain't got no upgrade plan! Not that makes any sense to previous users. It's always the same: $x amount if you own any $99 product. Which in reality ain't that bad a deal.
  18. I agree with ya on that. But on that note... Tried to update TR5 today and it keeps getting stuck right before it finishes installing/updating. Tried three times. Trying to update AT 5 right now and see if that will update.
