  1. I want to see the follow up video when his wife comes home and tells him to clean up the yard.
  2. Could of used this about 30 years ago for last call in my bar hoppin days. Would not of had to chew my arm off the next morning. BTW, what version of Contakt is needed?
  3. Just received mine last evening ( two days late because the FedEx driver delivered to the wrong address, luckily the driver corrected the problem after I wrote a semi-nasty letter.) Hooked them up this morning and I'm impressed. I'm coming from a pair of Behringer 5" MS40's though. The bass is a lot clearer and the mixes seem less muddy. These are a little overkill for my space too but I could not pass the price up and I'm set for the future when I get more room. Thanks for turning me on to the deal Larry
  4. I cut mine about three years ago. I had the dreaded ring with nothing on top except one puff of hair towards the front, so I kept it real short anyways. I absolutely love it now. Grew a beard, now my nephews say I look like an old biker. Plus I just run a razor over it while in the shower and kill two birds with one stone! Gets cold in the winter though.

  6. Daddy? Is that you? Why don't you accept my phone calls? It's Bapu Jr.
  7. I thought "TOTAL" meant everything! But this does not even include SampleTank 4 Max? I guess this is a good deal if you are not invested in their products already. Make me a good deal IK Multimedia, $500 for everything ( Total ) and I will forget what I have already invested.
  8. To put it bluntly, no. It is already recorded. The only way to do something like this would to be similar to what they call "Reamping". You would send the output of your overdive or clean guitar to an input to your audio interface and record that and then add the effect. Then if your audio interface supports it you would send that recorded audio back out of your interface to your amp and record that on a track with your mic. Keep in mind that you have changed your signal from analog to digital back to analog and then to digital again. I do not think you would get the sound you was hoping for but I have never tried it. Plus you are adding latency to your signal too.
  9. Was trying to get my head around what exactly these plugins do and this video helped me a lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJNQwZORg40

  11. This happens to me all the time, but don't worry he is just hiding ( from all the shame you brought on him ). A couple of more smidgens and he will be back.
  12. One man's smidgen is another man's fifth! (I would tell you how many smidgen's are in a fifth but I can not remember)
  13. Thanks for the FYI Simon, Cubase user here.
  14. Thanks Simon, just making sure. Going through some of the videos now, seems like a lot of product for the money.
  15. Does Absolute 4 run on Cubase Artist or is it Pro only? I'm new to Cubase and I did not see anything on the website.

    Zoom R16 Issue

I own a Zoom R16 ( it's sitting in a box in my closet at the moment as a backup to the interface I'm using now). I've never encountered the problem you are having, so I probably can not help much, but the only problems I ever encountered was that you had to have the Zoom powered up and connected before you started your DAW or it would throw things off and you had to make sure the sample rate was the same on the Zoom as your DAW. Every once in a while the Zoom would power up at 48khz instead of 44.1khz or vice versa for some odd reason. But if the sample rate was different it would throw things off too. Good luck.
  17. Nice, good tones. Enjoyed the ride.
  18. Questions for the SSD Guru's: I just recently started looking into upgrading to a SSD drive as I have a SATA 7200 hard drive, what are the differences in the SATA and the PCIe M.2 SSD drives? Are they that much faster? Last longer, etc.? Is it as simple as installing the PCIe into an available slot, cloning your main OS drive and then changing that SSD in my bios to be the main , C:\ , drive? Also just to make sure I'am not over looking something here is my motherboard. I should have three available slots. Correct? https://support.hp.com/nz-en/document/c03757575
