Not 100% of what you are trying to show. Here's what I see: You have SI-Drums on Track 1 with a LABS Plug-in turned off in the FX Bin. Then when you turn the LABS Plug-in on in the FX Bin, the Drums disappear. Is LABS an FX Plug-in? Are you using it for the purpose of adding an effect to the kit being played from SI-Drums? If so, how is the LABS Plug-in set up (i.e., routed)? I have some LABS things that I never use (except to listen to them), but the ones I have are sounds not FX. UPDATE: I did exactly what you did. Try putting an FX plug-in (not an instrument/audio plug-in ) in the FX Bin. PS: You can see on the right side (the Browser), you have Instruments selected. While some instruments can also be used as FX plug-ins, I am not sure that LABS instruments can.

That has a very interesting sound to it. The stuff Christian plays early on in the video sounds somewhere between a Mellotron and the kind of sounds you hear on modern pop (e.g., Billie Ellish, etc.), as do the demos (one even seems to reference the Mellotron). I definitely like it a lot and am intrigued by the sound.

FWIW...it's always cheaper once you reach TX Max status to just buy TS Max upgrades when a new version comes out. Buying this stuff "piecemeal" is too much...

I'm not familiar with the 1820, but see it has ADAT I/O. If all you need is more inputs, you can feed the ADAT out from the "expander" interface into the ADAT in of the "main" interface. Sync the main interface to the expander 1820 (it should be the master clock), and you 'll be good to go with ASIO drivers. I think Windows WDM can aggregate interfaces natively, although there may be a little more latency than with ASIO.

you have to hold the button down while dragging. if you let up, then you drop the duration...

Shipping, VAT, Import Duty and sometimes the couriers handling fees, make it rarely worthwhile. Plus there is the potential hassle of returning it! £74 is about $90 via PayPal rates. The io44 is only £9 less.

Thank you all. Didn't know about this feature. Never used before...! Now I can read the aim assist time... but ... apparently it's displaying the time of the cursor, not the elapsed time of the selection. May be I'm missing something?

IF you haven't purchased anything else from IK that falls under the TS title, then going from TS2 to TS4Max would be worth it. However, if you have done like many of us here have done, and bought lots of stuff from IK in different sales that came along, go do your research (that means go into your account a sift through all the stuff you have). See what you already have: Everything that TS4Max has Most of what TS4Max has Not much of what TS4Max has Only then you can make your choice is it worth it or not. The amount of software you get is not really the goal, or is it? IOW there maybe one or two products you don't have that are worth the money to you for the price of upgrade. Or you may get so much new software that it would be "No-Brainer" territory!! That's really up to what you have in your IK account. Or how much GAS you got!! I speak from experience. Good luck!!

JUt thought I would post back. worked for the last 3 hours or so under daw desk (good thing it's a standup Electric) Bottom line: after all this BS even though Aomei said clone\migration to drive was GOOD-it wasn't. Also, realized, yes my memory is terrible. I actually had the OS drive in a OCI card adapter instead of on the motherboard. iirc it was becausew at the time of the build I didn't have any heatsinks or covers for the MBNVME 2 slot but I did have the card with it's own heatsink.-Still, the clone did not work in there either. so I am right back where I started- 😞

That's $95 USD as opposed to $89.99 at Sweetwater...but if you're across the pond it would be cheaper as shipping would eat the savings

i use the UMC 1820 and UMC 202 HD together - they use the same ASIO driver so enabling them works. pretty sure two 1820 would work as well. a ways back, i had 2 M-Audio 1010LT cards which also worked on the same 1010LT ASIO driver. it's just a matter of hardware being able to use the same driver (and of course not have the driver restrict itself to a single HW IO unit). otherwise different ASIO drivers - not workable.

$140 with max JamPoints used. Dammit. I have the equivalent products in TS2 (but not TS2) and this seems like a no-brainer for the stuff I don't have like the reverbs, MODO 2, and Tonex Max (I have SE). Is there enough new stuff to justify bringing out TS5?

Hello all - I'm VERY new to cakewalk and I am just getting to grips with the basics and trying some things out. I'm banging my head against the wall when it comes to plug ins - whenever I switch them on on a track the audio cuts out. Have attached a video with an example. Can anyone help? as Base said: then as you drag on the millseconds time ruler, you'll see the duration shown ± time note: the aim assist time shows the duration in whatever time ruler format you've selected.
