  1. Yes, agreed. They should also consider tweaking the code of the VX-64 Vocal Strip and the PX-64 Percussion Strip. These have proved to be very useful over the years but are also prone to instability
  2. So what did you do to solve it? @IgoRr Others may benefit from your solution
  3. What happens if you remove the 2 x 8 and install the 2 x 16?
  4. I don't think there's anything physically built in to the software to stop you from trying So try it and find out
  5. You'd be far better off trying to identify the source of the dropout/slow down and get that fixed. The fact that whatever's going on affects your email and browser strongly suggests it's a problem outside of Sonar.
  6. So have you tried it using the XLR output? Trying it with USB will likely lead to driver conflict.
  7. Not sure what you mean by "overlay sound on the piano roll" Can you explain exactly what you're doing
  8. When you see the pale blue thing, Cakewalk is trying to dock whatever it is you're ,moving into the Multidock. hold down the ctrl key to disable this when dragging
  9. You need to remove it completely from your pc, including the Windows Registry
  10. I actually opened it up on my laptop - Dell XPS 17 9710 Win 11 Home Edition version 10.0.22631 build 22631 CPU is 11th gen i7-11800H 2.3Ghz with 16Gb RAM
  11. It opens up fine here in Sonar Obviously I get warning messages about missing audio & plugins but other than that, it doesn't crash or hang. That's with all 94 tracks and 40 busses active
  12. Have you got input monitoring switched on and direct monitoring at the same time?
  13. Condensor mic. Have you got phantom power switched on?
  14. You cannot add a vst to a midi track in any host. Add it to the associated audio track (if you have inserted a split audio/midi track) or to the instrument track
  15. I built about 40+ drum maps for use as articulation triggers with EWQLSO way before we had artic maps. Artic map went above the note pane in the PRV and I could edit them in context with the actual note data Worked like a dream but what a pain to set up.
  16. It's not a good idea to have your email address on public display Edit your post and delete it
  17. This is good advice. You will also need to remove any reference to it from the Windows Registry. If you're unsure what to do, let us know BEFORE you attempt anything.
  18. 19. It's pure conjecture. I am sure SOME users have jumped ship but to say the MAJORITY of them have is totally disingenuous.
