  1. NO! Leave it where it is, for the reasons mentioned by Jeremy above. You could quite easily end up in a world of pain if you delete it.
  2. Check again mate, I'm sure the EI has been around for a long time.
  3. Are people still using Norton in 2025? I agree with @Promidi ditch it for something more efficient, less resource intensive.
  4. When I right click the Fx Bin and choose insert Fx, I get this. Simply hovering over the arrows expands the list fully. Is this what you're seeing?
  5. Certainly in the UK, it's exactly the same with utility companies, phone companies, Internet Service Providers etc. They always offer deals for new customers but the existing ones are left paying full price.
  6. Nowhere near enough information What previous versions did you own? Once this is known, you'll know which one(s) need to be installed to get the plugins back. If it's anew computer, how do you expect to be able to view or load projects from a previous system? Did you backup the old system or dump your projects onto an external drive? Ditto for any third party plugins. They would have to be reinstalled. Have you made a note of any authorisation codes?
  7. Yeah SD 2 was upgraded to SD3, but that was some time ago
  8. Could be a plugin crapping out. Try bypassing all your Fx using the Fx button in the Control Bar and then playing the project again. You could then try opening in Safe Mode and enabling Fx one at a time
  9. That's not happening here. I have to click on a manufacturer to expand the list of their plugins Hovering over a manufacturer name for several seconds does nothing. Are you doing this from the Browser?
  10. Not seeing that here. All UI elements appear in the Help Module just by hovering over them. There is a delay of about a second but no other issues.
  11. No, there's no requirement to open a new account. I'm still using my old Bandlab Account for Sonar. Send an email to support@cakewalk.com
  12. Ah yes, I see it now And yep, it's an indication of signal level
  13. I'm not seeing that icon anywhere Where exactly are you looking?
  14. You can change the velocity (amongst other things) on multiple notes via the Event Inspector. Page 603 in the manual explains it all
  15. I use a couple of massive sample libraries and I've never had any issue with 32Gig of RAM.
  16. Ha! Remember when we had to distinguish between Producer & Studio. Expanded and Non-expanded. Now THAT was confusing
  17. Yes, perfectly. what else would you expect it to do, other than transpose notes?
  18. It's still perfectly adequate and does the job efficiently and consistently.
  19. Hi Mark This is on a Dell XPS 17 9710 laptop. Single monitor only. Resolution is at 3840 x 2100 (recommended) Scaling is at 250% Hope this helps!
