Delete Platinum from Cakewalk content?
Bristol_Jonesey replied to charles kasler's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
NO! Leave it where it is, for the reasons mentioned by Jeremy above. You could quite easily end up in a world of pain if you delete it. -
External Insert

Check again mate, I'm sure the EI has been around for a long time.

When I right click the Fx Bin and choose insert Fx, I get this. Simply hovering over the arrows expands the list fully. Is this what you're seeing?

After a long time I came back to sonar and have a question.
Bristol_Jonesey replied to reza sadeghi's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Certainly in the UK, it's exactly the same with utility companies, phone companies, Internet Service Providers etc. They always offer deals for new customers but the existing ones are left paying full price. -
Do a Windows search for .cwp files

Nowhere near enough information What previous versions did you own? Once this is known, you'll know which one(s) need to be installed to get the plugins back. If it's anew computer, how do you expect to be able to view or load projects from a previous system? Did you backup the old system or dump your projects onto an external drive? Ditto for any third party plugins. They would have to be reinstalled. Have you made a note of any authorisation codes?

Weird dropout and other behaviors just started happening
Bristol_Jonesey replied to theanalog808's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Could be a plugin crapping out. Try bypassing all your Fx using the Fx button in the Control Bar and then playing the project again. You could then try opening in Safe Mode and enabling Fx one at a time -
That's not happening here. I have to click on a manufacturer to expand the list of their plugins Hovering over a manufacturer name for several seconds does nothing. Are you doing this from the Browser?

Help module behaves differently on Sonar
Bristol_Jonesey replied to mgustavo's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Not seeing that here. All UI elements appear in the Help Module just by hovering over them. There is a delay of about a second but no other issues. -

Edit Mode: Drawing Linear Velocity Curves
Bristol_Jonesey replied to Elson's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
You can change the velocity (amongst other things) on multiple notes via the Event Inspector. Page 603 in the manual explains it all -
I use a couple of massive sample libraries and I've never had any issue with 32Gig of RAM.

Bristol_Jonesey replied to Larry T.'s topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Ha! Remember when we had to distinguish between Producer & Studio. Expanded and Non-expanded. Now THAT was confusing -

Bristol_Jonesey replied to Larry T.'s topic in Cakewalk Sonar
I'd need a pretty good reason to NOT install them. -
