  1. This is kinda stuff the KVR plugin brokers go for if there is no NFR license.
  2. Someone will usually take the price and divide it by the number of plugins and label it a no brainer.
  3. I've read the firmware updates solved this. It seems that with other manufacturers that 4TB drives seem to have a higher failure rate than smaller drives.
  4. These are a dime a dozen presets and not @ $53. Most loops libraries come with presets these days and are often under $20. You just need the synths.
  5. They must have the same people that worked on Asshat. Installed, authorized but ProductPoor2All says it's not installed.
  6. https://www.theregister.com/2024/05/14/vmware_workstation_pro_fusion_pro/?utm_source=daily&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_content=top-article https://www.vmware.com/content/vmware/vmware-published-sites/us/products/desktop-hypervisor.html.html I guess this is the next step once you've mastered your DAWS and VSTs. You could mess around with Linux distros.
  7. Whoever created that I just want to beat them up. The stupid part is the headphones icon but what about the visually impaired and can these be enlarged. Once again we are entering the age of pointless development.
  8. It's a testament to the direction of development these days. If these things are part of reducing piracy I'd say it probably promotes it. I get it if you are Waves,NI, or IK who sells huge bundles. I like direct downloads and will probably only support developers do that.
  9. So for the person who as everything not Bitwig does the Bitwig Studio Essentials make sense. I'd prefer non fanboys to comment.
  10. I'm trying to figure out which ones I don't have.
  11. Their head chief left the building. My guess is he isn't in to enshitification. You have to wonder though how many other plugin companies are not increasing sales due to too much stuff out there. Meanwhile the working guy who takes his laptop into a dance venue just uses everything built into Live. There's a lot of great plugins out there that are never updated because they made it right the first time. But lemme guess that the slots for using this voucher isn't a deal because the amount of $39 plugins you would buy with it can't be used and the next slot is a much higher amount. It has that NI ring to it.
  12. Wake me up when the realization is Kontakt is a sampler and not a rompler.
  13. I'd like to have SWAM products. Too bad there is not enough modeling but no shortage of trying to attract use with massive gigabytes of sound.
  14. I was thinking maybe it's not mature on a Windows PC compared to Apple. Plus it doesn't seem to be priced for the average consumer.
  15. Which reminds me I should delete all of them since I don't use them. They are on a HDD and seem to load fine.
  16. Almost tempted to get another DAW I wont use. I don't like their Waves type of licensing.
  17. ???? Sample Credits to download samples from the Sounds section of the site. No discounts on sample libraries.
  18. Meh. Somehow I miss that 5 second window. It also takes more than 5 secs to copy an 80gb file. Sad we have to come up with half assed work arounds for half assed distribution. This is the new NI.
  19. Meh. I like downloading zip files then I can extract at my leisure. Those go to a drive instead of dealing with the all or nothing. I wouldn't do it your way. I just multi span a library in 6GB sizes. I'll take extract over installed then archive. I was going to do that with HOOPUS but I'll just copy it to another drive and not zip.
  20. What a lightweight. I probably have that much with various HDDs. I still have some WD Blue 320GB. That was when drives rarely broke.
  21. They have them all of the time.
