then you just upgrade to the next version until you are stuck with Mercury or what ever it is. Eventually delete that and go RennMaxx

My Melda, TRacks, Arturia, every plugin not from Waves doesn't need WUP
-
My WUP for Plat is 81, upgrade to Diamond is 58 - LOL just LOL!
-
worst licensing in the industry - unfortunately it seems to be working for them if you have more than one machine it gets even more confusing for the Waves apologists I have deaf ears BTW also check your upgrade pricing as well - seems like there are some good values for plugin noarders

BTW Cubase does the same thing, All former elicenser products do that like VSL. You gotta login to a web page using these. -
New FREE version/tier of the venerable Cakewalk Sonar

How did you come to the conclusion it's free? I don't see anything on that page. So I guess this is also the standard installer and no separate free one? -
Lowest price ever on EastWest Ghostwriter, now $59:

It seems EW is hiding how much disk space is needed these days. I may be wrong but check their website. -
If I was really into Waves I would just do their sub and never deal with WUP. The thing I don't like with Waves upgrades is they remove the license of the other product. That's what also makes them unique.
-
AAS installers don't give you choice. They install every plugin format. I usually have to clean out those Pro Tools format ones.

Too much research for me to grasp these days. 2.5 SSD drive is quick and easy. They are not as fast but I wouldn't really know since I don't use nvme in an older system. Watin for MS to rethink W11 with the Tp thing.

I really didn't need to know that. It's tempting to go along with the other 750 orchestras I have. I have Ultimate and really can't download the newer stuff I wont use like that bloated ukelele, Lack of disk space it now turning into a realiy even after deleting libraries I don't use or were free. (that should be the reason to delete all of them). The other option is to shop for a 4TB SSD. I'm trying to avoid that.

Either this is false or fixed. Also should have been posted under the Sample Logic sale. No validity without a link either. Some could assume a 3rd party vendor.

⚡️⚡️⚡️EastWest Hollywood Orchestra Library - Opus Edition ($161.10)⚡️⚡️⚡️
kitekrazy1 replied to MusicMan's topic in Deals
$180 for an orchestra is the best price you will get While you don't have to install all of it the whole thing takes up almost 1TB of space. -
That's their best stuff
-
You can direct where it installs. As for the libraries if you don't want to deal with the IK manager to install, just download the files from your account.
-
I still have K5, 6, I never cared for 7 visually. Kontakt 8 should've been Kontakt 7.
-
I accidentally bought CE update and not upgrade. Got a refund and went with the usual UE. I probably won't install most of the new stuff since I don't need a bloated Ukulele Space management becomes more of an issue these days. The beauty of Kontakt is you can place those libraries anywhere you want without issues. I often wonder if there is any point of keeping those factory libraries. I often wonder if there is poll of most used NI libraries. I miss the old days where you could download the ISOs from your account. I have to wonder if there is any point keeping Kontakt 7 anymore.

Supposedly they are going to fix this. Right now my brain can't grasp what is missing in AT5/Tonex Max.

136 GB - easy pass for this fanboy
-
Love how developers make it hard to find out how much disk space these things eat. Flugelhorn seems really out of place in that.
-
You may have forgotten the same disaster with TS 4.5 or something like that with Sampletank libraries. Unfortunately I had to deal with a clueless support person. https://forum.ikmultimedia.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=40995

Guitar Pro file database download sale ($9 for 52,505 gpx files) - Ends today
kitekrazy1 replied to mettelus's topic in Deals
People use to create and distribute these on tab sites or back when you could have your own site littered with ads. We forget that this is a great piece of software -
What did you do? I didn't notice these were missing until now.

The copyright police came down on this app a long time ago. There's a lot of stuff that is missing from this download.
