How do you define successful? We still don't have the tax returns that were promised years ago.

Maybe his fans can do a fundraiser (Go Fund Me kind of thing) to chip in and buy him a PC? It seems like a large part of his reluctant decision is based on financial issues.

Thanks for mentioning this! I never knew (or I once knew but forgot) we could drag MIDI Clips to other music applications, but I tried dropping a clip from CbB to the MIDI File Player in Voltage Modular (Standalone) and it worked. I'll defer to others re: Cakewalk Sonar.

Interesting. I picked up some USynths and although they are not my top-line / go-to prefered synths, I have enjoyed playing around with them and have found them useful for some music I enjoy doing. I can definitely see their appeal. Having several USynths, I have wondered why UJam didn't give credit with the USynth Bundle for previously purchased Synths like some music software makers do. (Maybe it was there, but I never found it.) Not sure I want to pay double ($19 v. $9 per synth in the Bundle) to fill in my collection just to have all the current USynths, but I think it's the next best thing. Maybe if APD does well with this promotion, UJam will consider doing a pro-rated fill-in-your-collection loyalty deal for users interested in the bundle based on how many products a user already owns.

For anyone who has the Free CS version from IK, the chart here shows which modules the SE version would add.

Does the second synth have a midi thru port? If so, maybe you could get the midi data to go into the PC from the second synth's thru port?

Arturia has a free version of Analog Lab (Analog Lab Play). I know that the paid product comes with a standalone version that does not require a Host such as a DAW. Also some well-known software synth makers have trial versions of their software synths. I am familiar with Cherry Audio's emulated instruments. Again, I am not sure if the trials include standalone versions.

Thanks for that link, @msmcleod. On Friday I used MODO BASS 2 to create a 16 bar drum pattern with improvised bass line test project. It worked. So, not sure if the "Rescan Failed Plugins" option would help @Ricky Wayne Hunt, but I thought I'd mention it as a possibility.

Assign the output track widgets to single channels if you want a track to go to a single midi channel or monotimbral instrument (assuming the instrument itself is not set to omni mode). If you don't want a track to play you can mute it or set volume (CC7) or sometimes expression (CC11) to 0 if the instrument respects those CCs.
