Similiar question here.

You must be opening a project or a template that contains these instruments. Cakewalk does not load VST's just upon opening. If you no longer use these instruments then you could try to delete them off your hardrive. If you still use them but just not in the particular project then make sure you remove not just the track but the instrument themselves from the synth rack. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Browser.11.html

This seems like an issue you would need to ask Donner about. Cymbal chokes are just another midi note that needs to be mapped to the correct articulation in desired drum software. You can check what midi note the cymbal choke registers as by recording the midi of your drum controller and seeing what note is recorded when you do the choke.

How do I add swing from the Control Bar?
reginaldStjohn replied to MoeShinola1's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I know in a midi track you can apply swing by quantizing the midi notes and specifying a swing value. Don't know of any way to do the whole project unless you can select all the tracks and apply the quantize to all of them at once. -
OP-X Won't transfer from laptop to desktop
reginaldStjohn replied to Tim Cappello's topic in Instruments & Effects
Hard to tell why this would happen but it looks like it did create a crash dump. Send that to the developer of the plug-in and they may be able to tell why it is crashing and fix it. Otherwise, try to re-install your plugin. Completely un-install it and then re-install it. -
Did you record to a removable drive or have a removable drive or thumb drive connected to your machine? You can use a search tool like "Everything" to search all your hard drives for any wave files. Easier if you know the track names or clip names that were created. Do you have a backup?

I looked for "Archive" shortcuts after seeing your post abut could not find any as well.

It just give you the physical controls rather then using a mouse. Although you can also assign knobs and slider to control synth parameters, effect parameters etc.

Do you have a midi device show up in the Midi->Devices? I think you have to have a midi interface show up and be selected for you to assign an instrument to it. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Dialogs2.059.html#:~:text=Cakewalk lets you assign a,see during your Cakewalk session.

Is this a stereo mix or do you have stems for all the instruments? Also, you can try different offline rendering methods to see which sounds the best. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR X3&language=3&help=AudioSnap.23.html PS. When you say 74% I am assuming you mean you slowed the audio down?

This is probably not the sub-forum for a questions like this. You will get more attention in the https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/2-cakewalk-by-bandlab/ forum. When you hit apply it will apply the setting changes but not close the dialog. You have to hit "OK" to apply and close.

Cakewalk by bandlab spp plugin open
reginaldStjohn replied to Pedro V12's topic in Instruments & Effects
Not that I am aware of. It supports VST2/3 and some older DirectX plugins. I don't know what a *.spp file is. -
Roland V Studio 2.0 Audio Interface/Control Surface
reginaldStjohn replied to Brian L Edge's question in Q&A
Are the drivers you are trying to get from Cakewalk or Roland? I think you would have to contact Roland to get the drivers. If you think they are in your Cakewalk account then contact Support@cakewalk.com -
When you split an audio clip and want to get rid of the parts that are no longer audible then "bounce" the clip. That will create a new clip and the audio that was "clipped" should be able to be removed as long as it is not referenced somewhere else.

I would respectfully disagree. I think the new tempo track is much easier to work with and more consistent with other views. Is there something you cannot do in the tempo track that you are trying to do? You can draw in tempos in various ways. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Tempo.07.html#2014254

Why is task manager showing higher cpu than Cakewalk with SSL plugin?
reginaldStjohn replied to Jacques Boileau's question in Q&A
I think one of the developers mentioned that the performance module is just monitoring the audio processing and not the GUI and other system tasks, at least in one of its modes. Check out the documentation. I think it explains it. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=ControlBar.09.html -
Project Still Looking for Deleted Plugin [Solved]
reginaldStjohn replied to Chris Baker's question in Q&A
the project still seems to think that you have it inserted on bus:"Slap Delay". Have you checked that bus to see if you still have it in the effect rack or prochannel effect block? If it is not there then maybe something got out of sync or corrupt in the project file. In that case you could either try to re-create the project or do a "save as" and make sure to copy all the audio with your save. -
I have removed these kinds of pops by cutting out he discontinuity and then pushing the two clips next to each other and then cross-fading between them. You could also try cutting the clip so that the pop is isolated and then apply a low pass filter to just that small clip.

latency Recording Latency and related Audio and MIDI Settings
reginaldStjohn replied to Salim Reza Newton's question in Q&A
I have no idea about the ASUS noise canceling output but I would suggest trying the realtek ones instead of the ASUS entries and see if that works any better. If not, then getting a dedicated audio interface is your best bet. Also, Personally I would remove all the NVidia audio devices as well.- 5 replies

Toontrack Weekend Deal - Metal Machinery SDX and Hardcore MIDI EZX
reginaldStjohn replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I just purchased the drum midi at BestService, registered the code and it came up as an EZkeys midi (Big Band). I sent them an email indicating the error. -
You can do that if you make sure all your audio clips are set to be groove clips or if you open the audio snap panel and mark the clips to follow tempo. It is not as seamless as some other systems but it is worth a try. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Tempo.02.html#:~:text=1.-,Select the audio clip(s) that you want,to follow the project tempo.&text=In the Clip Properties Inspector's AudioSnap section%2C select Enable, then select Follow Project Tempo.&text=For details%2C see Synchronizing audio, and Changing a project's tempo.

Nothing to configure. I use a 4K TV as my monitor at 100% scaling. Some people have noted that using scaling makes it look a bit blurry but I don't scale the display so no problem for me.

Best Services Engine Setup
reginaldStjohn replied to Zachary Hadfield's topic in Instruments & Effects
I think that the instrument files would have to be loaded from the Engine and not Cakewalk. Cakewalk should find the Best Service Engine VST. Add that as a new simple instrument track and then open it's interface to open or find the instrument filess.
