Personally I've found that the variations by different devs have different flavors/mojos so I like to have a variety. Check out the free offering of Bitter Sweet by Flux. NI's Transient Master is also nice one. While it may not appear as flexible as Softube's Transient Shaper there's been a time or two when I was more impressed by the results.
