  1. Blocks Base will work in full Reaktor and Reaktor Player whereas Blocks Prime requires full Reaktor.
  2. By the way, my gripe here isn't with the regular guys that post news of latest software updates/deals/news. My grip is with the BandLab peeps that have ignored requests to create a few more sections where we can discuss something without topics becoming derailed by talks of you know what. So, @Meng, @Jesse Jost, please, create some more appropriate sections. Please.
  3. Says who? 'Bout time the powers that be here step up and create similar (or even same) sections that were on the old forum. The created the CH, so why not all the other sections?
  4. Trouble with hardware, though, is they generally don't have a lot of automation/modulation features, compared to VST effects. Don't get me wrong, I love my HX Effects pedal and my MPX 500 rack mount effect unit, but I only use them for reverb/delay/chorus/distortion effects. When I want to get really creative it is software all the way. Only other option would be something like a Eurorack effect unit which you could automate/modulate with CV, but that starts to get very, very expensive...
  5. I looked at Stutter Edit, briefly. As far as I'm concerned Tantra gives you much more bang for your buck and has a better interface. That said, if the price ever dropped to half what it is now I certainly would consider it.
  6. Well, like I said, the person that created that "rant" didn't actually post it here, so kudos to @ChernobylStudios as far as I am concerned for deciding not to post it himself. Scott is a YouTube content provider and I think that it was right for him to tell his subscribers where he was with that particular series. And I do feel for the guy as his problems appear to be genuine.
  7. Please note, people, that the video in the OP is not by the author of the post.
  8. I also recently upgraded to SF12, purely for the ability to load 64 bit plugins. This will be my last SF upgrade...
  9. I will be using the gear in my signature until I die...
  10. been following it too... very sad day indeed apparently, officials are saying that they have saved the the main structure:-
  11. Nice walk-through Simeon I pulled the plug on NOIRE a couple of weeks ago. I was looking for a piano VST, although I am far from an accomplished player (just one finger and I don't use the black notes at all). NI actually had a Piano Day sale on at the time but the crafty so and so's placed a link at the bottom of that sale page for NOIRE. I'm a bit of a Nils Frahm fan so that is what attracted me first. But that particles engine, for me, nailed the deal. A great piano library, and I don't own Kontakt so it was a real boon that NI have made this available for Player too. cheers andy
  12. Technically, I think that bread needs to be involved somewhere, so I would suggest that you take a thin slice of bread and then place lots of Becan either side of that.
  13. Manual? What is that? Guitar Rig Adaptiverb MGranularMB Sandman Pro Blackhole Objeq To name a few.
  14. Just had a becan and brie panini at Costa. Does that count?
  15. I guess that confirms what I have thought about this bloke for some time...
