  1. Thanks, David, I did have a lot of fun. I just started humming and scatting into this f/x, and it resulted in this song. That's just scratching the surface, so stay tuned. Gary, I'm not ducking the vocal, but I can understand your concern. The vocal actually consists of 3 layers- one with f/x and 2 without. I may have gotten caught up in the "Invisible" motif a little too much regarding the mix? I don't mind remixing this, and thank you for taking a second listen!
  2. Bjorn, thanks for you kind words and advice. I took your suggestion for the remix. Stay tuned.
  3. Tom, I just reposted this with your (and others) suggestion in mind, and I like it better. Hopefully, this will help. Thanks, pal!
  4. Freddy, you have a way with words! Do you know my ex? lol In so many ways, you are the sociologist of the group. I love to listen to your songs, and this just keeps that trend going. I'd love to jam with you someday! I've been involved with a lot of family business lately, and I hope to be more active here in the near future, but I just have to act the "patriarch" sometime
  5. Tom, keep up the good work! If there ever was a time to be political, it's now.
  6. B36B, thanks for your time and kind words. Dan, thanks for listening to this and responding. Yeah, I'm kind of a sucker for sound toys like this. My inspiration is the songs from Pink Floyd's "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" with the vocorder (New Machine Pt. 1 & 2). In the future, I'll be more discreet with this toy, unless I'm not. lol
  7. Jesse, thanks for the encouraging words! It's time to step out from the norm... Nigel, it's always a good day when I'm compared to PG! Thanks a million.
  8. Thank you, Tom. It's always good to start with a decent song! Hi Gary, thanks for your reply. It does song like a tuner gone wrong (typical vocorder) The vocal should come up a bit! Mark, thanks for responding! The low end does need to come down a little, thanks for pointing this out. Douglas, it's good to hear from you. Thanks for your kind words and advice. I agree with you and Mark about the bottom end. I lack experience using synth bass, but I'll keep working on it.
  9. A couple of weeks ago, I picked up an OVox voice synthesizer from Waves and began experimenting with it. I came up with this song using its vocorder for the main pad and lead vocal. The sax sample is from Dimension Pro using my guitar played through MidiGuitar 2. The song was a lot of fun to create, but I need some extra ears on this, as I'm not entirely neutral about this, yet. As always, thanks in advance for your help and suggestions. Here is the link: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14005443 remixed on 3/16/20
  10. I believe that's true, and that's how I would use it if I was using an external synth rather than its built-in synth.
  11. I got this plug in and was able to simply put it in the f/x bin and turn on the echo input button to hear it live. I didn't enable the MIDI input to do this. It recorded just like that and worked well. No need to add a MIDI track, unless you're using an external synth, I think.
  12. Great song, Daryl! You should be writing for SNL.
  13. Try setting your marker by hitting the letter "m" during playback.
  14. I may be a little confused, but do you use it as a regional fx in ARA? I don't understand your use of the utilities menu, as it's intended as a regional fx. Do you render small clips after processing them? Do you have unrendered clips in your project?
  15. Thanks Steve, much appreciated! As for the stone, I'll see what I can do. Paulo, if you only knew... Happy to hear from you! Thanks
  16. You might try rescanning and making sure that TH3 is in its correct place in your plug-in path. Good luck.
  17. It's been a while, but I think you merely need to go to the Overloud site and re-authorize TH3.
  18. Check to see if the interleave button on each track is stereo or mono. If all tracks are in stereo, that would explain your problems to me. Just set them to mono.
  19. I'd heard something through the grapevine, but I'm relieved to hear it from you and that you're recovering well. I've missed time here, too, but because of family and personal stuff. I look forward to hearing from you when you are fully recovered!
  20. You can use a noise gate to silence the clicks in the silent parts, but it may be time to look for closed ear headphones. Perhaps make it part of your drum or percussion track?
  21. This is easily done in PRV by changing duration of the note. Isn't that what you are looking for?
  22. Actually, "bounce to clip" works perfectly fine for rendering Melodyne or other ARA clips. I've been doing it this way for years, and I've use ctrl + B for the key binding.
  23. Thank you for your keen observations! Yes, that is an Ebow that I use with my PRS Tremonti, which I use in a number of songs. The reference to SD is very kind, indeed. Happy holidays to you and all.
  24. You shouldn't have to freeze or make audio tracks at all. Leave them as MIDI tracks and drag and drop them in your EZ Drummer track as MIDI files. That way you can edit them in the Piano Roll View (PRV) as desired. Check for videos on this on the Toontrack site.
