  1. @Grem You should see the difference a TB3 interface makes to loading UAD plugs... it's astounding.
  2. £5.04 bargain plus eq+ on plugin boutique.
  3. Finally bagged Ovox at a decent discount!. Final price 50.40 GBP.
  4. VocalSynth 2 is very good
  5. Forward compatibility, 6 is backward compatible as far as I’m aware?.
  6. Proving I have way too much stuff.... yes, I have this, and WOW is it good!.
  7. @musical I do hope you’re right. I definitely feel the winds of a change. I can imagine the scramble this is going to cause at the third party plugin and VSTi makers. On top of that possibly hardware interface makers?. Not sure how low code they rely on. it’s going to change a lot of things I’m sure. I’ve been on this ride since the mid 80s. Watch this space :). Tony
  8. My burning question is... is it included in my Cloud X Composer fees LOL. Guess I'll check later.
  9. Great value, I had been waiting for this to come out cheaper. Shame it's not with the tracker hardware hey LOL.
  10. It depends which plugins you use and whether your happy to ‘print’ your tracks :).
  11. @Grem Good choices. The first time I put Oceanways on a channel was 3 years ago for someone I was producing a one off for. It was a wow moment.
  12. @scook Actually turned out to be my home internet. Required a reboot of the modem... I was getting 35 down and 11 up instead of my 350 / 35... british telecoms have been having a rough time with lock down after all :_).
  13. Thanks Scook!. Could their server be any slower.... OUCH...
  14. I tried this several weeks or so ago, I have 8ms latency and 350/35Mbps connection. I expected issues with a lot of people, Sadly that's what I got, BUT!, there are some great people on there, and I hope it will develop more and get amazing along with those on it.
  15. @cclarry Ok Larry, I agree this is a radical move. Answer me one thing, political or product policy related?. Tony
  16. @Grem You really can't go wrong with both Ocean Ways and Capitol. I have the Helios too, very good. I admit most of my tracking has been through the Neve 1073 though.
  17. I have 65 UAD plugins including the ones that came with my Quad. Honestly, I pretty much have all I ever want of those now. What I really wanted a discount on is the LUNA extensions... guess I'm going to be waiting sometime for that to happen... :).
  18. Further on this. In logic pro x I got a little spinny wheel for about 10 seconds, then there it was. Works excellent. Having presets in it is fine, but of course if you don't own some of the plugins.. LOL. It's all good, I didn't see any spikes in use, but I am sure it depends on what and how many you plug in the rack :). Tony
  19. This is the biggest reason I can survive my own mixes with my old ears. Tonal control is amazing. All my mixes translate to all my play back devices these days. It’s a really excellent technology advance worth having.
  20. Ability to use other VSTis worth it alone. Honestly I’ve spent very little time with it, but it did impress me. Was worth the upgrade price though.
  21. Yup, no questionnaire here either. It was just added to my account to download and activate next time I have waves central open. Looks very cool. It will be interesting to see if and or how it impacts CPU etc.
  22. Then the tea would fit you to a tee? ;).
