  1. Hi all Is anyone still burning CD's? The reason I ask is that up until now, I've always used CD architect but it's become really flakey running on Win 10 and I would like a suitable alternative Something that will let me import an entire album, insert track markers and assign track names, album name, production credits etc As ever, the internet can be a complete lottery with many hits leading to dodgy sites and other dubious links Free or paid, makes no difference to me, but hopefully anything that comes with a price should provide suitable after sales service Thanks
  2. You could easily rule out one problem by rendering the clip and exporting that, see how it sounds
  3. I would be absolutely amazed if existing templates didn't work in Sonar
  4. And whatever you do, do NOT ininstall it once you've verified the program is ok. And DEFINITELY not by deleting whole folders using Windows Explorer That is a recipe for disaster
  5. Deleting & reinstalling probably isn't the best way forward here. If you've deleted all its folders with Windows Explorer there's a chance you've deleted all your projects as well. I hope this isn't the case. Reinstalling the program will NOT reinstate any projects that might have been deleted. If you can find your projects, make a note of the folder location. Then open up Cakewalk, go to Preferences > File> Folder Locations and make sure the first entry is correct
  6. I've got all of my plugins installed on both But my sample libraries are all on a 3rd disc which is visible to both Win 7 & Win 10 All of my Audio files are on a 4th disc, again visible to both
  7. To be honest, the only time I boot into Win 7 is when I want to use Sony CD Architect, and that's only because I've been too lazy to migrate it across to Win 10 😂
  8. Almost certainly. You might get an issue loading old plugins if any have been removed over the years, bu the cwp itself should (I hope) be fine.
  9. Ctrl + S for Split? That's always been used for File Save on every single piece of software I own Split, for me, has always just been S Or right click your clip and select Split for more options
  10. Email from Celemony support confirms "The problem is the CPU of your new system, as the code structure of Melodyne 4 is not optimized for Intel's new arising 11th and later CPU generation (Melodyne 4 has been discontinued for nearly three years now). Please take a look at our FAQ to get additional information: https://helpcenter.celemony.com/M5/faqs/?qOpen=299 You will need to update to Melodyne 5 as Melodyne 5 got a complete new code overhaul and is also prepared for the new CPU generations arising."
  11. I'm thinking I might have to upgrade to 5, but does it work inside Windows 10 & 11?
  12. Forgot to mention, this is Melodyne Editor, if that makes a difference
  13. The VST2 path contains the file Melodyne.dll The VST3 path cotains the file Melodyne.vst3 Plugin manager is set to scan both (I can see them being accessed in the toast box) but not showing up in Region Fx
  14. Hi all I've decided to install Meolodyne 4 on my laptop I've downloaded and installed it, run the stand alone player and activated it. The standalone player runs ok. I Rescanned the paths in plugin manager but it's not showing up in Region Fx. All I see is Drum Replacer & VocalSync. I can see it scanning the Melodyne dll but no joy. Any idea what is going on? Thanks
  15. Well that's not your call to make. The bakers will decide what is right for them AND for the user base.
  16. Export depth has nothing to do with recording bit depth. You should ideally have the latter set to 24 bit, not 16 32bit for exporting is fine
