  1. You make any music style in any DAW , if you can't find a specific tutorial in Cakewalk then you can just adapt from whatever they are using. Most tutorials I have watched used Logic but it isn't really so different
  2. It's a great feature having 2, I do NOT want the Track and the PRV at the same value all the time
  3. Yes I know. What we are saying is it doesn't apply any FX from the busses
  4. I don't lease beats like the OP but I do have to upload deliverables to publishers / music libraries etc. Some of them do ask for " track outs " which is basically every track isolated with all your automation/fx intact. The reason they ask for this is their clients ( usually TV or movie production companies ) want more control and the ability to rebuild the mix and deliver custom mixes after the fact without the need to go back to the original producer. These tracks can get licensed into a TV show or Movie a number of years down the line so having the track outs is a valuable asset to the Publisher and means they can offer more tailored Alt Mixes and charge more for the service. The original Producer also stands to benefit by having more chances to get their music placed so it's in their interest to provide what the Publishers specify but it's a real PITA to do this by soloing each track as most track counts are at least 40+ . Luckily some companies only want Stems ( i.e. Bass - Drums - Guitars - Strings - Keys ) and they can build a more crude custom mix from those which means there's only 10 - 12 stems to export on average. Currently the best way is to use Track Folders for this IMHO ( see above ) but sub folders would be a massive help as you often have to sub-divide stems as well. i.e All Guitars ( Main Folder ) - All Lead Guitars ( Sub Folder ) - All Rhythm Guitars ( Sub Folder ) At the moment you have to deal with this manually. 5. I often have to deliver stems and the best method I have found is to use Track Folders and set one up for each buss / stem. Just mute everything else and do a normal export .
  6. I don't get it either. I wouldn't want the clip name to follow the track names...that would be like saying make all the track names automatically be the same as the Folder they are in...one is a subset of the other , why would you call them the same thing, At best maybe have it as a tick box option " Clip Names Follow Track " ?
  7. The closest way to achieve this is to send the contents of a folder to a Bus with : Tracks - Selected Track Output - then select the Bus of your choice
  8. Better if they are all merged into one
  9. Ahhh..Okay. OP is probably in wrong thread - I would never have found it there
  10. Already requested here 2 years ago, and on the old forums
  11. Having tried all sorts of ways over the years I find the fastest easiest method is Waves SoundShifter plugin. Very simple and quick, non destructive, sounds good enough in most situations. If I need better then I'm spending more time using Melodyne.
  12. I set mine to the key " U " ...as in U-turn I have stream deck now too so it's got it's own hotkey for when I forget
  13. They are just right for me on the time ruler..I guess it depends on your screen size etc. This new font seems too big though like a crazy kindergarten font
  14. I think you set it up different to me but I'm not in my studio at the moment
  15. First thing I noticed is the font on the PRV Folder tracks looks huge !
  16. Cheers, nice one. I managed to get the transport controls to work under ACT
  17. Seems a bit overkill to me - I do add Project notes but I can't say I've ever wished I had a note on something on something at clip level.
