    writing pitch bend in MIDI

Snap forces drawing to the current snap resolution. Turning it off avoids that. In some cases you won't hear a difference, but things like pitch bend may require smoother transitions.
  2. T opens the HUD. But once there, you can't use hotkeys to switch tools.
  3. Thanks. I've tested with Mercury and a custom theme and both behave the same. Main issue is double-click functions are opposite each other. Pan reset hotspot is about 3 pixels in the top half region. I thought hotspots were in the manual but can't find them.
  4. Not only do Sends controls behave differently, Pan is difficult to center. Double clicking control knobs: Knob top half: Volume = open text entry; Pan = open text entry Knob bottom half: Volume = reset; Pan = open text entry Knob tippy top half: Pan = reset (3 pixel hot spot)
  5. 1. Shouldn't hitting F5 repeatedly cycle thru Smart tool options? I've found no hotkey to do this. Answer: NO Hit F5 to select Smart tool if not already selected Hit F5 repeatedly toggles between Smart tool and last selected tool If no other tool was selected, hitting F5 repeatedly does nothing Hit F9 selects Draw tool Hit F9 repeatedly cycles thru Draw tool options F8, F9, & F10 behave this way. F5 does not. 2. Hotkeys don't work with HUD, shouldn't they?! Answer: I think so

Turn off global Snap and use the SMART, Draw or Line Tool (F9). Repeat hitting F9 to scroll thru Draw tools.
  7. At the time I checked several times to be sure. Seems to be working now so probably just a project glitch. Thanks.
  8. It's always worked here on both Windows 10 & 11 laptops using Chrome and Edge, but I avoid Edge like the plague.
  9. Not to my knowledge. Added pics above.
  10. That should work, but FWIW I installed Dimension LE 1.2 DXi (in C:\Shared Dxi\Dimension LE), but 32 bit X3 and SPlat don't see it for some reason. It may need to be installed on a 32 bit system.
  11. Could just be my version of 11 but I liked 10 much better. Now there's 12.
  12. Edit the title with [SOLVED]. Windows 11 is a step backward from 10 IMHO. One of it's "never before seen issues" was giving me a double listing of my harddrives. No idea why but a reboot and possibly a Device Manger cleanup fixed it.
  13. I wasn't sure about that or if it was a P5 project. But did find this. True. I still have a 32 bit Windows XP system with Home Studio 9 for such occasions. I shudof known that after finding this a while ago. And now this.
  14. It should load with bitbridge in CbB. Or open project in P5 if it installs and check the settings there. Was there a Dimension other than LE and Pro?
  15. I phone surf when away from home but I'm unaware of social media links as I don't use them.
  16. Android phone screen zoom and Chrome zoom seem to work against each other. Phone zoom has 5 positions. Chrome 50% to 300%. To see the top link "bells & whistles" in Mobile mode, the phone zoom can be any setting with Chrome browser at 50% and phone flipped sideways. With phone zoom minimized, Chrome has to be 75% or less, or they all disappear. In Desktop mode, they disappear when Chrome zoom reaches 100%, flipped vertical or horizontal. Before today all I got was the sign-in link but now it's all there. I like the new one click sign-in.
  17. Refresh shouldn't change the mode. Maybe it's an Apple thing... Android Chrome:
  18. Happens often here. No single diagnosis yet. Long shots but try these: 1. If the Taskbar MIDI Activity Monitor looks frozen, uncheck it: Preferences > Customization > Display > Show MIDI Activity on Windows Taskbar 2. Check for ghost drivers (faded entries that report "Currently this hardware is not connected to the computer") and remove* them in: Device Manager > Sound, video, and game controllers Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers *Only remove if they're not for known hardware that's currently disconnected, like an external harddrive.
  19. My issues are more so with CbB/Sonar OCASSIONALLY not sending data out to my outboard gear, which is routed thru a micro lite MIDI interface connected directly into the computer's USB. Two scenarios happen: 1. CbB shows output activity. The interface shows output activity to the gear. The gear doesn't respond. 2. CbB shows output activity. The interface doesn't. The gear doesn't respond. Rebooting the system several times will eventually fix it. I also have an external USB harddrive that repeatedly drops connection after hours of use - but I think it's to blame for that
  20. "I have tried different scalings on the external screen. Does not change anything." Right. As far as I can tell you issue is a Windows 11 bug that MS will have to fix. Windows 10 shows the icons in both scenarios. Unless you've bound D to another function in Preferences, you should still be able to hit D to hide/show MultiDock on either screen.
  21. It may be stuck in Background Processes. Open Task Manager and look for it there. If so, try rebooting the system.
  22. At 1st glance this window was so unintuitive I had no idea what it was for or how to use it. Promidi's explanation made me look closer. FWIW, sadicus' post should be in Tutorials.
