  1. Try this: 1. Under BANKS, right-click the bank in question 2. Choose Restore from factory bank... 3. Click the corresponding bank 4. Double-click the preset to refresh Overloud restores the presets from a hidden file called factory-presets.db Seems there's no real documentation on this. BREVERB manual shows there's a button in Preferences but the current version omits this.
  2. The latest version of V-Vocal I have. I tried it on a 3:14 min frozen Dimension Pro track loaded with a GPO flute w/o incident. I also tried it on a 3:14 min frozen Kontakt 5.8 track with the C.Bechstein grand piano, which is probably under 7 GB. However, once the tracks are frozen, the resulting waves are only around 55 MB each.
  3. Can't speak to Win11 but v1.5.2.5 (2011) works crash free here on Win10 with 16 or 32GB ram. Just noticed a long standing issue I've had with the GUI being cut off on the right side thru out the X series and early CbB is now gone. 😎
  4. Anything is possible at this point but my results are what they are and your screenshot agrees.
  5. (Db, Eb, F#, G#, Bb) seem to hold no matter what the key. You can right-click a note in Staff View and change it so either symbol is displayed there, but not in PRV AFAICT.
  6. Along with Glenn's post, you don't have to install S8.5 to get the plugins. Just uncheck everything except the plugins you want installed. Then rescan them for use in other DAWs. If you do install S8.5, in rare cases you may need to install and run with administrator privileges for some plugins to work.
  7. Simply right-click and drag over it, then hit Delete. Left-click is for moving it. Same behavior for PRV cc's.
  8. The Folder/Track name window can be stretched by dragging the right end out.
  9. @msmcleod Make it so adding an Automated Mute Envelope automatically switches the Track's Mute button to the Automated Mute button. As-is, you have to switch it manually. And if you didn't know you can do that, you'd never see it switch on and off. 😎 Also, when Archiving a Track with Automated Mute, the Mute button reverts to the default button when the Automated button should remain. This is a bug, No?
  10. AFAIK X1d was the last update for Sonar X1 but it's not on our product page for some reason. It's available on the Knowledge Base page of the legacy site here: https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013277/SONAR-X1d-Update Update: You must log into you legacy account 1st, then click one of the links. Download should be instant now that the URL is fixed.
  11. Sonar 8.3 runs fine on Win 10 here. Haven't tried it on Win 11 yet.
  12. Try this: https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=0805-AAS Check your driver's version # in Device Manager. If it's one of these ^^^, try the other one. Last resort: 1. Create a Restore Point 2. Remove everything Behringer from the system 3. Clean the registry of everything Behringer 4. Reboot the system 5. Install latest Windows updates 6. Install the latest UMC drivers (start with 4.59 and then 5.57 if the 1st one doesn't work) FWIW... At one point a Windows 10 update nuked my built-in soundblaster ASIO driver so that CbB would crash when trying to open, simply because it was listed in the registry. I never selected nor used it in CbB, but it was there in the list. I had to remove it from registry for CbB to open. A complete disk wipe and system reinstall including Windows updates restored it to normal behavior.
  13. 1. Select take/automation lanes 2. Hold Ctrl while clicking one of the "X" or "-" buttons Don't use the Delete key or the entire track will disappear
  14. My laptop built in sound has ASIO, but it's a SoundBlaster...... I've never tried it so can't say if it's usable with a DAW or not.
  15. Have you tried it with ASIO as well as MME and WASAPI? Preferences > Audio > Playback and Recording > Driver Mode Also make sure the UMC Control Panel volumes are up outside of CbB.
  16. Icons were actually removed in CbB a while back when they reformatted the menus. Interesting there's still room for them on the left, tho. That's all I use.
  17. Make sure: 1. The 1st 2 items in Preferences > Audio > Driver Settings are set to your interface. 2. The last item in Preferences > Audio > Sync and Caching is set to your interface. When you set the Record Meter to full range (90 dB) is there meter activity when the track is armed and you play something? (Arm track then right-click meter and set to 90dB) ASIO is the best choice if possible. Try adjusting the Buffer size up & down in Preferences > Audio > Driver Settings > Mixing Latency. Some interfaces work best at one particular setting. FWIW, when my interface started crackling it needed a firmware update which fixed that and other issues it had since new.
  18. Check the Event List or PRV for pedal OFF controllers.
  19. Just found where you had done this a couple years ago here.
  20. You can import a new list (.ins file) for the DGX 670 synth if the patch names are different from the standard Yamaha XG names. Your manual should have a name chart. Or go here for a list of Yamaha INS files and change the file extension to .ins if not already done so.
  21. Odd that you heard anything then if there's no onboard sound. My install defaults to Nullsoft DirectSound Output which connects to the onboard sound. In this case system volume (separate from your interface) plays a factor in the output level.
  22. So people can see if their particular synth is listed without downloading the file and opening it only to be disappointed. ? But either way works. I get some files are quite lengthy, that's why I made new ones for each of my synths separately for importing into CbB.
