SampleScience launches Super Lynn Drums virtual instrument
PhonoBrainer replied to satya's topic in Deals
Just thank you for mentioning the Blue Nile. -
I liked the dark tone. I listened on a not great mp3 boo-boo and the mix still sounded excellent! Full bass yet I could hear guitar fuzz with clarity.

Hey 53, which site did you originally post your song to, even just as a Private link? Was it Bandlab? Or Soundcloud or something else? Following with interest . . .

Additional proof that Humanity is doomed? 🤔

At least, with AI, we won't get the "We're sorry, due to unusually high call volumes . . ." No more waiting for 22 minutes because you're 7th in the queue. Instead of waiting 22 minutes, your query will get the confusingly incorrect answer almost immediately. -
Me too! Probably the best kind of fame. You can still go to the store and buy milk. I hope you are in good health and enjoying what little obscurity still remains.

Sounds like Gulfoss with a 4 band eq built into it? And magic dynamic audio dependent frequency things? My Gulfoss use is on the master bus, predictably around Tame 20, Recover 15, so pretty minimal and quick. My Soothe use is never on master bus, probably just vocals, and I agree too many controls that do similar things, taking longer. I wonder if people who go to NAMM are often "blown away" because, they have invested a lot of time and money going to NAMM.

As the upgrade price is now $49, does that mean the Spaces 2 regular price is $48? (deep cut)

PSA: Amazon has become a dumping ground for cheap Chinese crap
PhonoBrainer replied to bitflipper's topic in The Coffee House
Not since I got burned by their horribly short return policy, when a third-party vendor hosted by Newegg, on Newegg's site, sent me a used open box SSD which was advertised as new. Newegg claimed their 14 day return policy began on the day the item shipped, not the day I received the item. So any shipping delays that occur (INCLUDING WEATHER RELATED) eat into your Return time policy. So, no, not Newegg, not ever again. -
PSA: Amazon has become a dumping ground for cheap Chinese crap
PhonoBrainer replied to bitflipper's topic in The Coffee House
I've spent the last four days over-researching laptops, ssd upgrades, ram upgrades. I sleuthed Amazon, B&H, and Best Buy. I ended up buying the laptop, memory stick, and ssd from B&H. I needed pry tools and small screwdrivers for the opening of the laptop. Bought those on Amazon for $9.98. Cheap crap has its place, and that would be Amazon. -
a fun thread, brought me back to my early 90s foray into Opcode Vision. Wow, midi sequencing!!! And apropos, from the Opcode Wikipedia page, "In 1998, Opcode was bought by Gibson Guitar Corporation. Development on Opcode products ceased in 1999."
