  1. I didn't realize that in Analog 5 there are demo presets/
  2. I just need another synth to complicate my life and send me down the dark path of presets only.
  3. Did you ever build an Athlon system? I damaged 2 boards trying to install a CPU cooler. I fried another board in assembly which was the ECS brand which I stopped buying. I built a P4 Prescott system and ruined that board because of a drop of sweat. Lucky for me I bought the parts from a local shop and Intel sent a board the next day and he let me build it in his shop. There use to be an onine place you bought components and they assembled and tested for $20. I moved where there is no humidity and I don't have carpet. I've built all of my systems since the turn of the century and I still have this paranoia pressing that power button. I guess there is potential of shorting out a system when blowing the dust out and the fans can create static charge of spnning too fast. I use an air compressor instead of those air cans.
  4. This thread is about to be cancelled. It was about a Komplete distro.
  5. Jam points knock it down. Does this fall under the only pedal you would ever need?
  6. Part of me thought he was joking. If he said also using ASIO4ALL then it would be.
  7. Somewhere between synthy and trumpety. It's not a bad price but do you want a solo trombone eating 7gb of space?
  8. I'm waiting for a too stupid area in this forum. Since I make a lot of stupid purchases via this forum this is where I'll be,
  9. Don't know but Melda had LT updates for as long as I can remember. Maybe that was the appeal. Since they are more focused on their DAW and are no longer in the 3rd party plugin business that could be why they have Melda, UVI, and W.A. to cover those markets. They don't carry those products in their own shop so I guess they let them run their own business.
  10. Now I reduce my changes of carpal tunnel going through this site.
  11. https://www.sampletraxx.com/release/arsenal $49
  12. FL user went into panic mode when a former NI guy become the IL CEO. No user knew who the previous CEO was.
  13. Replaced some system fans so I remove everything and take the computer out on the patio to blow the dust off of it. When I plug everything back in the UR22 is working but every DAW I opened up said the ASIO needs more port or something like that. Sometimes Windblows likes to pick that as the default sound but when I change I still get that ASIO error. Even rebooting doesn't fix it. The only solution was to remove it from Windows and reinstall the UR driver. I think this happened twice. Since it still had PCI slots I was tempted to install an AP2496. Stuff like this shouldn't happen with USB interfaces.
  14. Don't most of the boards these days protect against static shock? I live in the desert and always worry since humidity is all or none.
  15. That some nice stuff there. With all of these versions of Komplete it will be as confusing as Linux distros.
  16. I didn't realize Melda was owned by IL, Maybe that explains the lifetime updates.
  17. No one could take over the code. That's what people forget with these silly mergers. I guess it's hard to strip the authorization scheme from a product. So far Izotope hasn't done it with EA verbs. I remember when Overture was a Cakewalk product. Then when it went solo the LE version came with GPO. I thought it was a great notation app. https://sonicscores.com/product/overture-5-ug/ $129 crossgrade
  18. Dear mods please move this to the Coffeehouse.
  19. Quotes from IL staff The money to buy other companies actually comes from our own profits not from the investors. Why do you think I am being coy? My comment was that I think people, particularly the naysayers, would be very surprised how big FL Studio is these days. Regards Scott Not at all, we do not leverage Waterland's finances in any way. They bought a stake in IL. They do not finance us. However none of this is really your business. You should be making music, instead of having digs at us about mergers and acquisitions and guessing at our financial arrangements. The status with WL has been the case for years, and it's only just now anyone noticed. No way on that one. Gotta have DAW drama.
  20. Yes UVI is now part of Image-Line. Incidentally, so is Melda Production, WA Production and Producer Loops ( for over 1 year now ). I assume some of you noticed this on our Sounds page? Surprising as it may be to some, we have been growing very rapidly over the last decade. FL Studio is installed 30.000 times/day with peaks up 70.000 times/day during new releases, with some of the biggest producers using FL Studio to create chart-topping music all over the world. That success puts us in a position to strengthen the Image-Line business with the addition of companies, and most importantly talent, that compliments what we do. UVI are already doing very well by themselves and they will continue to create and release high-quality products independently for their entire user base. We will be looking to combine and complement each other's offerings where it makes sense for the respective customers in the future. No, we will not mess with their business or stop the sale of their VST/AU etc, that would be silly. Anything more, you will need to wait and see. We have proven, I would hope, with our Lifetime Free Updates policy that has stood for 25 years, we can be trusted to keep our word. The whole team prides itself in doing the right thing by our customers. Actions speak louder than words here. We have positive and good things coming for both FL Studio and UVI customers and both businesses will continue to work independently from a product perspective. Regards Scott People gotta have their DAW drama. If you have an FL account go and see for yourself.
  21. Don't think so unless Gibson buys them. Image Line, UVI, Melda are small companies. I assume Image Line believes in each store as a separate business. Beside you can't take someone's coding and mash it into yours. I think Cakewalk never improving the staff view speaks volumes.
  22. I'm too stupid to figure out how to use it anyway
  23. I'd pay for it if they removed the TMP.
