  1. Mine wasn't. Can't install Lores. Wonder how long till support comes to the rescue. Thanks Native Asshat.
  2. Some ISPs give you a warning if you exceed your monthly download amount, Just wasted 320gb of nothing. Delivery and implementation is what is starting to suck with many developers.
  3. Downloads then it says can't update and I need to remove the previous version. THERE IS NO PREVIOUS VERSION! It's not even in the registry. Why is this going that? I can't keep trying to download 70+ fricken GBs because I eventually get an warning about using too much bandwidth from my ISP. I need another method of delivery other having Native Asshat deleting it. Civil? I've bought NI products since the turn of the century and there is more regression in quality. If they were mechanics I'd find a new place.
  4. This the developer that creates bloat as I recall.
  5. I guess this appeals more to Windows laptop users. I've come across users to put together a boutique system only to compliment it with an iTrack Solo or onboard sound. Yes, it probably suits their needs but it just seems odd to me. An RME Babyface would be overkill for me but people believe in the myth of the future proof computer hardware while the world is full of audio devices that will outlast Windows system builds. I have no clue if WASAPI id the much better than WDM. I remember when Sonar 2 finally adopted ASIO. It's been ASIO for me ever since.
  6. So it's another ASIO4ALL. These are usually open source and Steinberg, Magix, Image Line have their own ASIO drivers and they seem stable.
  7. Frequently returned item Check the product details and customer reviews to learn more about this item. Seems like this issue happened in recent months. Sandisk is now WD and I wonder if the RMA is as good as WD.
  8. Lost interest ever since they went iLok
  9. It depends on what you want to do with them. If you are into electronic genres they are fine. You can view it the way some do with plugins and think wow a no brainer because it's like $4 a plugin. When you accumulate so much stuff it's only useful if you force yourself to use them. I just recently bought a Rigid Audio library and I forgot the name of it already. Oh it was Ion Storm. It was a riser type thing. There's so much stuff out there with "I never used it in a track" because they don't work well with other instruments unless you use the same instrument and the other presets. It reminds me of another developer who use to do group buys every year. Sure they sound great but.........how would I use it in a track. You could buy one of the libraries and see if you like it before getting everything.
  10. Waiting to find out who has it. There's something about those Hybrid Drums that are tempting.
  11. This one doesn't require boutique hardware. It's still fun to play.
  12. I would've love Sin Player if it came out 20 years ago when they average person couldn't afford the price of most sample libraries. I would have liked to purchase just a small piece needed. That was back when Gigastudio was king. Not sure what I'm gonna get this year. Last year I got one for the Phoenix library. Their libraries sure are pricey for not having to pay a Kontakt license.
  13. Too bad I don't like the Sine Player.
  14. I got an Maschine Expansion even though I don't have the hardware other than a M32. So I got Lores and Fables base on everyone's recommendation. I was too stupid to figure out the tax trick. Often the expansions also come with Massive X presets and there are also one shot and loops to use in other ways. Too bad that voucher couldn't be used on hardware.
  15. I've been doing that for 20 years.....like next year will be different?
  16. Got Ozone 11 advance upgrade for $99. Suck they removed the stand alone.
  17. Got Ice Crystals for Chromophone.
  18. Meanwhile I have everything of their and too stupid to figure out how to use them. I guess the every plugin looks like a rocket science and they are not pretty unless you use them in Live and lack of tutorials doesn't make them as popular as they should be.
  19. Someone else would do it instead.
  20. Some of Live's instruments are actually AAS. Chromophone probably has the greatest potential.
  21. I'm not sure the Multiphonics CV-2 is worth the $39 upgrade. They always demo their synths by themselves but how many of them actually would work in a track of other instruments like Spire, Sylenth, and Serum
  22. The knocked the price down on the whole collection. So for $10 more I got all 3 of those instead of just buying XL
  23. Is it not a good idea to upgrade Kontrol? I remember some rumblings about it.
