At what point does one realize Komplete is all about bloat. It comes and goes with me but their Native Asshat which always breaks starts to me me think of not buying anything new from NI.

Waves Berzerk Distortion Plugin for FREE! [PROMO ENDED]

Maybe they don't have to lead the league in the race down to zero if they changed their licensing. -
It adds the Limiter and wants you to buy it but it has a great uninstall and you can remove that.

Didn't know what MTM stood for. For a minute I thought I was at ViControl

It seems like their Poor-t'all broke on it's own. Update not present but stays it's not installed. I'm tired of logging in using that (cr)app. It seems like the NI people tinkered with it.

I think going to Studio One would be an easier transition.

AAS Jazz Café introductory sale, now $19 instead of $39:

I bought this and I like the sound but when the word Jazz is involved in a synth player it should have jazz chords instead of the usual major or minor. -
I'm a fan of bland or 8bit looking GUIs. I don't even do color schemes. I love Live's 8bit look. I have all of Melda and working with them seems to be a rocket science. Lack of available know how is their weakness. Reaper use to be that way.

They have a small staff. It's their revenue that is huge. I don't think they even employ over 30 people. They also have their own shop selling presets. They got out of the 3rd party plugin business for now. They also didn't follow the enshitification model even after buying UVI. They let those companies do their own thing. I do buy stuff from their shop which is Flexx presets. I don't do their loop cloud until they start selling midis.

EastWest Synth Bundle: Forbidden Planet | String Machine for $129!

Serum and Spire of you don't have them. -
There's a lot of software that's no longer developed and it just works. I've come across those who still use Acid Pro when it was Sony. I guess 64 bit just doesn't impress them.

I don't know a single person who uses Audtion

I've never encountered that. I'm waiting for Image-Line to go out of business after the license I've had for over 15 years.

I tend to see it as a money pit. All of those libraries are genre related. It's their player that shines. Eventually they take up space. I upgraded EZ Keys recently and try to figure out an EZK to get. With Kontakt and the endless VST synths nothing really tempts me. Usually they will have a EZD3 upgrade for $79. It's random. -
I have plenty of DAWs where no sub is needed. Subs go up in price. How many people have ditched their Prime or Photoshop/Lightroom sub that has doubled or tripled? Will Waves ever recover from their mistake? Intro prices on subs are usually attractive but 5 years later they are not because they are not near the same price. I guess one reason why the stuff shirts favor subs is people are not responsible enough to cancel them or make a person jump though hoops just to cancel. There will always be developers to market against subs. If it became a sub only there's too much damage that only the fanboys will subscribe. Once again we will be dealing with another distribution app that makes using software more of a chore.

That is pretty hard for developers to do these days with a lot of staff. I think the DAW market peaked a decade ago and few prepared for it. Part of this was more hobbyists entering.

I love that Geico commercial when the squirrels high five each other for running a car off the road.

No big deal. I got use to broken promises with Finale and Gigastudio. I will assume this is a ground up version and not a rewrite.

I think hardware like this can be a risk. You are at the mercy of computer hardware and software.

When places go out of business there is a business in the background that is gonna buy all of the stock. I imagine it will also be manufactures. Fend probably bought back some of it.

This is another one that forces its way into Windows startup.
