  1. Anything computer related I always go with Newegg. Amazon is pretty bad at getting deliveries right for me.
  2. I may pass on the whole thing because of this.

    JRR Shop

He needs a new website anyway. Search was annoying.

  5. Check out some of the bundles. https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/81-Bundle/82-Plugin-Boutique-Bundle/6890-iZotope-Excalibur-UJAM-VOID https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/81-Bundle/82-Plugin-Boutique-Bundle/6889-iZotope-PhoenixVerb-Stereo-UJAM-SILK Half of the time these free offers cause you to buy something you don't use for something you wont use. BTW most of WA's licensing is for one machine.
  6. That just means you are going to pay it off in 12 payments.
  7. Same here so I thought I would get this console using my voucher. I've collected enough EQs and compressors.
  8. Yes you will unless you move them all to the cloud. If you are using Waves on a USB stick or an iLok you will be fine. iLok products authorized via the drive will be the most annoying since you will have to contact developers to reset authorizations. Waves recover licenses is easy.
  9. This is the nice thing about Waves Central. I didn't have this happen with the 2004 update. It will be interesting if others had the same issue.
  10. So did my system with the i7 4790. Meanwhile I had no issues with the AMD FX6300 system. The update error was vague. Everything seems to be fine in device manager.
  11. Mine eventually creeped up to 5ghz. Maybe I should have done some DAW work.
  12. Torn between this and the IK group buy.
  13. Still do. I had to use it when I upgraded a system. It also works if you have licenses on other machines. The USB stick advice is the reason I don't buy Waves. iLok and eLicenser is enough for me. Licensing is #1 on my list before forking out money. That puts Waves on the bottom.
  14. If you are on a budget this will work. https://www.newegg.com/seagate-barracuda-st2000dm008-2tb/p/N82E16822184773 Getting in on the group and trying to buy a SSD puts me over. I would have to choose one or the other. I only put my top tier samples on a SSD. (EW,VSL)
  15. My 9900K is running at 4.6ghz. I did nothing in the bios or use any other software utility to increase this speed. A ghost in the machine? This is the first k series Intel I've had.
  16. RA and Silk can be had for under $150 each when they have a sale. I'm getting sick of the proprietary players. I've had no issues with Play, VSL, or Kontakt.
  17. I agree. I have the 1.2 but I don;t want to fork that over. I'm waiting for a deal on the other Etheras.
  18. You will have to keep a lookout for that Acid Pro special. Last time I bought an additional license for 9 from B&H for $20.
  19. $60 upgrade and called loyalty. Funny.
  20. Melodyne Essential comes free with most DAWs. This is another one where I have plenty of licenses. Essentials 4 to 5 is a free upgrade. Acid Pro is the real money pit. Even at $79 that's not worth it when a new upgrade will happen in less than 18 months.
  21. The problem with having licenses of Magix software it becomes a money pit to keep up to date. Other than the recent Samplitude how many upgrades say "I gotta get this"?
  22. Another $50 and you get Samplitude. I'd go that route.
