Maybe wiser. People shop around for that $2 product they never use for the free item they will never use.

It did have an advantage back in the day when software only allowed one authorization and you had other systems and didn't want to buy additional licenses. iLok as come a long way since it started - a long way. The real problem with iLok is people will try to steal those.
-
Just how many of these can we acquire?

DAW drama -
I find this is apple and oranges. Live is a laptop first DAW. But when you open Live it opens up the work area and also when you close it.

BTW he wasn't the first one to leave. People left NI. Who know maybe some of these people collected enough money that they decided they don't or need to work anymore. -

How many of us actually buy hardware unless it breaks. I haven't bought any more guitars, basses, wind instruments, ect. We've always been the minority. Most people don't even use desktops anymore. Lucky for PC hardware we benefit from the gaming industry until the PC loses its top seat as the gaming platform. -

Some of us still have that practice. -
Live licenses are never cheap. I think the most they ever discounted is 30%. One think about Live is when 12 is released they still work on fixing things in 11. I have 12 beta but never got around messing with it.

It is a small library around 700mb.

There are plenty of anti iLok users out there. Plus another one of those special downloaders that I loathe, Nice that they allow 3 activations and I have 3 iLoks. Eat that Waves!

Two AAS soundbanks of your choice with Beat magazine #219

I'm not into the "plugin broker" thing. I'd give it away which I'm sure many do. -
I have yet to hear anything positive about Muze,

I can't remember the last time I bought from PA. It has nothing to do with their quality. I can bring any DAW to crawl when opening it because of too many plugins - even Reaper.

Maybe it's me but giving an answer to the freebie is like piracy. I remember the price of hard copy of these magazines was a a lot more than the digital format. Just buy it for the code and take advantage of the content. I like it since many of the tutorials have the project files. I think I have everything AAS so it's not a big deal. -
I guess if link and price would violate the forum rules.

I'd like to see it reversed by getting a deal on that Kontakt versions. Something I noticed is going to their youtube channel that were they could do better. I downloaded the Iceland library but any videos were mostly talk. There's nothing about what makes it different. Sure you can hear the individual sounds but no demo of the sounds together. This is where they seem to lack a walk through unless it's a flagship product.

I never cared for the Loopmaster label because their lack of midi. I'm hoping Image Line will have this function but yet they don't have that in their DAW. FL Studio, Live, and Reason don't have these functions.
-
It didn't take long for me to fall for it. I noticed it's got an odd file system. All of these different folders. It's another reminder why Kontakt rules. So far I've messed with the Iceland library.

When I see disable HT I find it hard to follow any advice from the author.

Great price but I wonder about the quality at that price. I guess Arturia use to have a bad reputation for the quality of their controllers.
