With any luck they’ll quickly move on to celebrating other planets.

Thought that said Larry Ironheart. I check this forum too often.

Man I can't believe it. 10 year was 40% and 15 year was 40%. I was secretly hoping we'd hit the halfway mark.

That’s what I call an egg.

Surprised “suck my” got through the filters.

I believe it's just about what you have in your account. If you still have a version of K Standard you remain eligible to update along the Standard path. If you still have a version of K Ultimate you remain eligible to update along the Ultimate path. So you're not dropping down to K Standard 14 - you're just updating your K Standard 10 to K Standard 14. Likewise in the future you wouldn't have to climb back up - you would just be updating your K Ultimate 13 to K Ultimate 15.

At the tail end of 2022 Best Service had it priced at $83.15 at the same time as they had one of those $20 off of $100 codes... My head should probably be filled with other things.

If anyone buys this from a reseller, I'd love to know if you end up with separate unregistered serials.

I meant to reply to this particularly obnoxious post, but I thought I should wait until Sound Forge Pro was available from Humble Bundle again before necroing. I am very careful about what I opt into when downloading and installing software, and I can assure you, whatever it was that contained Connect, I was absolutely not given the option of avoiding it. On the other hand I don’t doubt that you were given the chance to opt out as you say, and the impression I have picked up over the last few years is that the installers available from Humble Bundle are not the same as those available directly from MAGIX. I can’t confirm specific details of the discrepancies, but I think this is what’s behind our differing experiences... In fact I have just gone to Humble Bundle and downloaded the VEGAS Pro 14 Edit installer (the only one available on the page) and I notice that the filename is “VEGAS_Pro_14_Edit_DLM_Etailer_Connect”. So there you have it. I guess I should have paid more attention to the filenames in the first place, but I wouldn’t have known what “Connect” was before installing everything and seeing it pop up all the time. I recommend getting all installers directly from MAGIX.

When it comes to Realize Your Glitch, there's some debate over whether I or II was better.

Are they offering Forbidden Planet with upgrades to HOOPUS?
-
Bingo. This is the first one I'm actually excited about.

I think you're thinking of this one: https://pulsar.audio/w495/

There'll be tiers before bedtime.

Yeah you need to use “Native Access 2” for the more recent releases (technically v3 I believe). NA 1 updates itself but doesn’t prompt for an update to NA 2. Some of us are clinging on to NA 1 for dear life on account of subjective usability stuff. NA 1 and 2 can coexist on Mac, whereas on PC NA 2 overwrites 1. Get the latest download from here and it will be NA 2: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/downloads/
-
Sorry if stupid question but did you use NA v2?
-
No don't leave us. Not now. NOT NOW.

Think you pasted the wrong link. https://www.pluginboutique.com/deals/show?sale_id=14683

And the fun just keeps on coming/leaving. Delete as appropriate.

N.B. When I bought Samplitude Suite direct from MAGIX last year, the Sound Forge was auto-registered to my account. Don't know how the serials are handled from Thomann et al.
